    Hi cinta! Today’s discussion is about creating a soothing skincare routine. When handling an inflamed/irritated/damaged skin, you need to take a break on your actives and focus more on soothing. You may question if soothing will do a lot on repairing your skin, well it does! For instance, certain skin conditions or product formulations may leave your complexion red, inflamed, extra sensitive, or even painful to the touch. In those cases, your face would best be served by the addition of soothing skin care products.

    Now when creating a soothing skincare routine, it is best to choose products with high percentage of soothing ingredients. Here are the example of soothing ingredients:

    -Centella Asiatica

    -Mugwort

    -Heartleaf

    -Licorice

    As for your cleansers, you need to choose the one that is gentle to your skin and I recommend you to use milk cleansers that are known great for sensitive skin. Most important is don’t skip your SPF! You don’t want to cause sun damage to your skin which will worsen your skin condition and avoid using makeup for atleast a week.
