  • Smoke detectors Smoke detectors are among the most common hiding places for cameras. Positioned on ceilings or high walls, they provide a clear and wide view of the entire room. Because their design already includes small holes and sensors, a miniature lens can easily be hidden without drawing attention., Alarm clocks Placed conveniently on bedside tables, alarm clocks are strategically located to face the bed. A camera can be hidden behind the digital display or within the speaker grille. If an alarm clock looks unfamiliar or oddly positioned, it may be worth examining closely., Electrical outlets Electrical outlets are discreet locations for tiny pinhole cameras. These spots offer both concealment and continuous power. If an outlet appears newly installed, slightly misaligned, or has an unusual hole or mark, it could be hiding a lens., USB chargers and power adapters Modified USB adapters or charging plugs can double as recording devices. These items are particularly deceptive because travelers often plug their phones or laptops into them without suspicion. Always use your own trusted charger instead of the one provided in a room., Lamps and light fixtures Table lamps, wall sconces, or ceiling lights can be tampered with to conceal a camera within the shade or housing. Because lamps are close to beds or desks, they provide a convenient vantage point. Shine a flashlight into the fixture—camera lenses may reflect light., Mirrors Two-way mirrors are another common method of concealing cameras. You can test a mirror by placing your fingertip on it: if your reflection directly touches your finger with no visible gap, it might be a two-way mirror. In that case, report it immediately., Wall décor Picture frames, paintings, or decorative wall art can easily hide a camera behind the glass or inside the frame’s border. Cameras placed in these objects usually target areas like the bed, bathroom entrance, or changing zone., Clothes hooks Small wall-mounted hooks, especially those placed near the shower or changing area, have been found to contain miniature cameras. Many spy cameras are sold online disguised as ordinary hooks, making them difficult to spot at first glance., Stuffed toys or decorative pillows In certain cases, hidden cameras have been placed inside soft furnishings or plush toys left on the bed or couch. Because they look harmless and are often decorative, these items rarely raise suspicion., Air vents and filters The grilles of air conditioning or heating vents offer a concealed space for cameras. These vents are often directed toward the main area of the room, providing a wide-angle view. A flashlight inspection may reveal small reflective lenses behind the slats, How to stay protected Travelers are advised to inspect their rooms thoroughly upon arrival. Turn off the lights and use a flashlight or your phone’s camera to scan for reflections from hidden lenses. You can also check the hotel’s Wi-Fi network for unfamiliar connected devices. If you find something suspicious, avoid tampering with it—report it immediately to hotel management and local authorities., Hidden cameras in hotel rooms: 10 common hiding spots travellers should check and how to stay protected

  • Apple’s new MacBook version is likely to sit below the Air variant in the lineup and priced well below it as well. We could see the company bring back an old screen size for the model and make some other concessions to keep the price down. The new MacBook variant could be priced around $599 which makes it closer to Rs 60,000 in markets like India., Apple is expected to use the iPhone chipset (A18 Pro version) to power this MacBook variant which could help in a big way to keep the launch price low. Some might say that using iPhone hardware on a Mac could be limiting but Apple's clear focus with this product will be basic users., The MacBook is expected to come in colourful options and likely to feature a 12-inch display rather than 13-inch which was mentioned in earlier reports. The build quality could be less metal and more plastic but in the classic Apple fashion., This MacBook model will also use the macOS version but powered by 8GB RAM means the performance and feature set could be limited in some form., Apple is hosting a special media event in New York on March 5 where we could see the new colourful MacBook along with other devices like the iPhone 17e, iPad Air M4 and more., Apple budget MacBook launch expected in March 2026: 5 key things you should know

  • Apple’s new MacBook version could sit below the Air variant in the lineup and priced well below it as well. We could see the company bring back an old screen size for the model and make some other concessions to keep the price down., Don’t expect Apple to dish out all its usual premiumness for this product, which means the build quality will be slightly different but still have some level of Apple-ness about it. The MacBook is expected to come in colourful options and likely to feature a 12-inch display rather than 13-inch which was mentioned in earlier reports., Apple could use the iPhone chipset (A18/19 series) to power this MacBook variant which could help in a big way to keep the launch price low but also offer Apple Intelligence support for these buyers., The model is likely to have only 8GB RAM as the sole option, less number of USB C ports, and the LCD panel will not be bright and punchy as the regular Macs offer., The affordable MacBook model could be priced around $699 (Rs 60,900 approx) which will make it a budget device in the lineup. Apple could target the new system for students which means a special discounted rate will let them buy the model for $599 (Rs 48,900 approx)., Apple’s budget MacBook launch is getting close: 5 key things we know

Instead, they built companies worth millions while most of their peers were prepping for board exams. Whether through innovation, hustle, or sheer determination, they turned youthful ambition into serious business. Here are 8 inspiring young CEOs who made their first million before the age of 20., TILAK MEHTA: At just 13, Tilak Mehta launched Papers N Parcels, a digital courier startup in Mumbai that offers same-day delivery through the city’s iconic dabbawala network. Later, she founded TinyLogo, a firm offering digital branding services. With a client list ranging from schools to corporates, her ventures have collectively crossed the million-dollar mark. She remains a role model for young girls in tech and continues to innovate while studying., HARSHWARDHANSINH ZALA: Harshwardhansinh Zala founded Aerobotics7 at 14, focusing on creating drones to detect and defuse landmines. His innovative product earned him a Rs 5 crore MoU with the Gujarat government and widespread acclaim. Harsh decided to focus fully on his mission, stepping away from traditional academics to build a company that's saving lives with smart tech., RITESH AGARWAL: The most well-known name on this list, Ritesh Agarwal, launched OYO Rooms at just 17. What began as a simple idea to standardize budget stays grew into a global hospitality giant valued at over $9 billion at its peak. Backed by the Thiel Fellowship and a $100,000 grant, Ritesh became one of India’s youngest billionaires and a textbook case of teenage disruption., AKHILENDRA SAHU: Hailing from Madhya Pradesh, Akhilendra launched ASTNT Technologies at 16. They work on projects such as recommendation systems, fraud detection, and speech recognition. This job suits engineers with strong maths and programming skills, especially those with a background in computer science, electronics, or related fields. The demand for this role is growing fast, and companies are willing to offer high salaries to skilled professionals in this space., Robotics Engineer Robotics engineers design, test, and build machines that can carry out tasks on their own or with little supervision. These include industrial robots, drones, and robotic arms used in surgery or space research. Engineers from mechanical, electronics, or mechatronics backgrounds often enter this field. As industries aim to automate more processes, robotics engineers are in demand, especially in manufacturing, defence, and healthcare, leading to high pay and long-term job opportunities., Cybersecurity Analyst Cybersecurity analysts protect a company’s digital systems from threats like hacking and data breaches. It saw a healthy 7.9% year-over-year growth — likely driven by its midrange Galaxy A series and strong foldable lineup., Apple – 15.7% Market ShareApple shipped 46.4 million iPhones, growing just 1.5% YoY. While solid, the growth is modest compared to Android rivals, possibly due to users waiting for AI-focused upgrades in the iPhone 17 series., Xiaomi – 14.4% Market Share Xiaomi shipped 42.5 million phones, with near-flat 0.6% growth. Its dominance in India and strength in budget and midrange segments keeps it firmly in the top three., Vivo – 9.2% Market ShareWith 27.1 million shipments and 4.8% growth, vivo continues to benefit from aggressive expansion in Southeast Asia and a strong offline retail presence in emerging markets., Transsion – 8.5% Market ShareThe only top brand to decline YoY (-1.7%). • It looks clean, classy, and feels solid The Nord 5 keeps things simple but premium. The matte finish on the back is smooth, stylish, and doesn’t attract fingerprints. The Marble Sands version I used has a subtle marble texture that adds just the right amount of flair. Even though it doesn’t use a metal frame, the phone still feels strong and well put together in the hand., It’s big but still manageable With its 6.83-inch screen and flat edges, the Nord 5 is definitely a large phone. If you have smaller hands, you’ll sometimes need your second hand to reach the volume or screenshot buttons. That said, it’s well balanced and not too heavy. It still fits into most pockets without feeling bulky., The custom shortcut button is a nice touch One of my favourite little features is the side button you can assign to different tasks. I set it to quickly launch the camera, and it made a huge difference when I wanted to take photos in a hurry. It’s simple, doesn’t get in the way, and quietly makes life easier., The display is one of the best in its segment The OLED panel is sharp, bright, and super responsive. At 144Hz, scrolling feels buttery smooth. Watching HDR content is a treat—vibrant but not overdone. Even outdoors in the sun, visibility is solid. And yes, the Aqua Touch feature helps when your fingers are slightly wet or sweaty—surprisingly useful., Audio and connectivity are reliable Stereo speakers get fairly loud and are good enough for everyday video watching or calls. There’s not much bass, but clarity is solid. Call quality is great, 5G and Wi-Fi 6 worked without hiccups, and Bluetooth was strong. You won’t miss a headphone jack if you already use wireless earbuds., Performance is smooth—even when pushed hard With the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, this is the most powerful Nord phone yet. It handled games like PUBG and Genshin Impact smoothly, and switching between apps or editing photos was no problem. The phone stayed cool during long use, and performance didn’t drop even after extended gaming or multitasking., Battery life is excellent and fast charging helps The huge 6800mAh battery easily gave me up to two days on moderate use. Even with heavy screen time, GPS, or gaming, it held up well. And when it was time to charge, the 80W SUPERVOOC charger topped it up quickly. Bypass charging during gaming is another smart touch., Main camera is surprisingly capable The 50MP main camera impressed me, especially with color accuracy and detail. It handled different lighting conditions well—from bright flowers after rain to close-up nature shots. Portraits were also great, and indoor shots of my dog looked sharp and natural. The triple-axis OIS keeps things stable and blur-free., Other cameras are fine but not standout The 8MP ultra-wide camera is decent, but not amazing. It’s okay for landscape or group shots, but you’ll see some loss in detail around the edges. The 50MP front camera is much better, especially with autofocus and 4K recording. Selfies looked clear, even with tricky lighting, which is rare at this price., It gets the basics right without overpromising The Nord 5 focuses on things that matter—performance, display, battery, and camera. It doesn’t try to pack in gimmicks. Sure, wireless charging is missing, and some AI features rely on an internet connection, but those aren’t dealbreakers. For its price, this phone delivers a clean, reliable experience that feels polished and premium., Top 10+ key things to know about OnePlus Nord 5 before buying
