Kalamazoo-area craft show hosts over 200 small businesses

KALAMAZOO TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — On Sept. 27 and Sept. 28, visitors to the Kalamazoo County Expo Center can attend the annual Fall Craft Show, a free shopping event with over 200 participating small businesses and vendors.

“It’s a great way to give back to small businesses in the community and do some shopping,” Lorie Money, organizer of the Fall Craft Show, said.

Beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. Sunday, guests can explore booths selling artisan and handmade crafts, as well as some food vendors stationed nearby.

Considering the quantity of vendors and accessibility to families, Money expects a big crowd of shoppers.

“Usually, at least 3,000 people are there,” Money said. “If not more.”

The Fall Craft Show will take place in tandem with the Mom to Mom Sale, a children’s clothing and maternity item resale event also at the Kalamazoo County Expo Center.

Shopping ends at 3 p.m. on both days of the event.
