A small plane lands on Interstate 15 in San Diego
A small plane made an emergency landing on the northbound lane of Interstate 15 and Aero Drive, between the Serra Mesa and Tierrasanta neighborhoods, on Monday afternoon.
The plane, described as a single-engine, 2005 Cessna T206H, landed safely according to Caltrans, and was on the center divide. No injuries were reported. Footage from the agency's freeway traffic camera showed emergency crews at the scene as of 4:58 p.m.
Meanwhile, a SigAlert has been issued for drivers on northbound I-15 at Aero Drive.
