About 4% of flights in the 40 markets will be canceled Nov. 7, increasing to 6% by Nov. 11, 8% by Nov. 13 and 10% by Nov. 14, the U.S. Department of Transportation has announced.

The federal agency said in a Nov. 6 advisory that the reductions will help ensure aviation safety as the government shutdown has increased strain on the air traffic control system.

Airlines and flight tracking services show at least 10 canceled flights in and out of Indianapolis on Nov. 7.

Major airlines such as American, Southwest and Delta said the majority of passengers traveling this weekend should not see flight disruptions.

Here's what we know about flights in and out of Indianapolis. This list is not exhaustive, and airport officials urge travelers to check directly with airlines to see whether their flights are on time or canceled.
