PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – Police are searching for a husband accused in a domestic violence incident on Nov. 15 in which he repeatedly rammed into the back of a rideshare driver’s car that had picked up his wife from work, according to Vancouver authorities.
Dashcam video of the assault shows the man repeatedly driving his car into the rideshare car shortly after it had picked up the woman around 5 a.m.

The driver of the rideshare was struck four times in the incident (Vancouver police).
“Over the course of several minutes, the suspect struck the rideshare driver’s vehicle four separate times, causing the rear of the car to collapse inward, shattering the rear window, and nearly pushing them over a 20-foot embankment,” officials said.
The rideshare driver called police and drove the woman to a Vancouver police station, where officers took over the situation. Authorities said the driver was sent to the hospital with injuries.
“We want to acknowledge the incredible courage and quick thinking of the rideshare driver, whose actions likely prevented a tragedy,” police said.
The suspect fled the scene and has not yet been located, though officials said his car has been recovered. Anyone with information about the husband’s whereabouts is encouraged to contact Vancouver police.
