Man who travelled to 140 countries reveals the destination he goes back to every year

A man who has travelled to 140 countries has revealed the destination he goes back to every year.

Chris D. Brown has visited a huge number of countries and cities.

Chris said the country has so much to offer - and, above all, it's home to his favourite city, Seville.

The people, street art and architecture add to the city's appeal - so it's no surprise it's a popular tourist destination.

For instance, he raves about pintxos - small snacks found in the Basque Country of northern Spain - including gildas, small skewers of olives, anchovies and peppers.

Spain has so many attractions to explore - including Barcelona's iconic Sagrada Familia

Food, including classic Spanish tapas, is one thing that keeps tourists coming

Chris also recommends Padrón peppers and his favourite beer, Alhambra 1925 - both of which are from Spain.

It's not just the food that draws Chris in year after year. The country is full of art and culture, with many attractions to explore.

Among others, he cites the Alhambra, a medieval palace and fortress in Granada, as an impressive spot to visit, as well as the Patio de Los Leones (Patio of the Lions), a courtyard with a fountain.

As well as Chris's top spots, there are so many cultural institutions to uncover.

In Barcelona alone, for example, there's the famous Sagrada Familia, Park Güell, Picasso Museum and much more.

Alternatively, in Madrid you can visit the Prado Museum, the Royal Palace and many other art galleries - and that's just the start.

Chris adds the many festivals and traditions in Spain add to its appeal.

During Valencia’s Las Fallas, locals fill streets with huge sculptures and enjoy bonfires.

Food markets are all the rage in Spain, with popular options in cities such as Barcelona

Spain has plenty of transport options, including a high-speed railway network

Meanwhile, every February the city of Sitges hosts one of Spain’s biggest Carnival celebrations - similar to Mardi Gras in New Orleans.

There's even a tomato festival held in August in the quiet city of Bunol.

It's also a well-connected country, too, with Chris writing that major cities including Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, and Seville have excellent public transport.

With metro, bus and inter-city trains and flights, it's easy to get around.
