Think there's only one sauce option at Raising Cane's? Think again
Cane’s Sauce, no doubt, is the star at the popular fast-food restaurant. The sauce is served with every combo, has starred in TikTok trends and is the inspiration for countless dupes.
“It is actually voted most craveable sauce in America,” said Isaiah Underwood, regional leader of restaurants. “So, it is zesty with a little bit of pepper. But it is our founder's recipe, Todd Graves, and I'm going to tell you it's definitely one of the most special parts about the menu, if not the most special part.”

Customers can find honey mustard, Cane's Sauce and Louisiana hot sauce at Raising Cane's.
Yet, it is not the only sauce served at Raising Cane’s. There is a second sauce Raising Cane’s prepares in-house – its honey mustard. Underwood described it as “sweet, not zippy.”
Packets of The Original Louisiana Brand Hot Sauce are also available. The sauce boasts a distinct vinegar flavor intermingled with the heat. Customers can request either option while ordering, but they are not on the menu.
Underwood also said stores serve ketchup and mayo. Of course, “Cane’s Sauce is by far the most popular," he said.
Other menu hacks at Raising Cane’s
There are a few more options at Cane's that you may not know about.
Aside from the secondary sauces, Underwood said the sandwich combo can be served on toast rather than buns. He also said customers can ask for toast with “butter on both sides, which makes it wonderful.”
Chicken tenders also offer more variety than may be expected. Customers can order their chicken “naked” to remove the breading. Underwood also said “crispy” chicken tenders can be requested. They are fried for an extra 30 seconds.
Ultimately, even with the extra options, Raising Cane’s menu is compact for a reason.
“We do one thing, and we do it better than anyone else,” Underwood said. “And so, we only sell five things on the menu and that's because we want to be great at it.”
