New hotel, residences to open near Denver Tech Center
DENVER (KDVR) — A new hotel is set to open soon in south Denver, promising to bring the warmth of a boutique hotel and the comfort of an extended stay.
The new Apiary Hotel, located at Belleview Station, 4855 S. Quebec St., is set to open this month as Denver’s “latest upscale extended stay hotel,” the hotel announced in a press release Thursday.
The hotel is part of Marriott Bonvoy and includes elements that are inspired from “the beauty and collaboration of a beehive.” Located in a walkable community with spaces to live, work, dine and play, it is designed to act as a community “hive” for locals and visitors.
The hotel has 175 suites, each with kitchenettes and residential amenities. There is also a residential component with a separate entrance and amenities, with units ranging from one to three bedrooms, including 13 penthouses.
“Our hotel ecosystem mirrors the beehive model we draw inspiration from, with each member of our team working hard and collaborating to ensure top-tier service, amenities and guest experiences,” Alison Mitchell, General Manager of Apiary Hotel, said.
The hotel serves daily complimentary breakfast and has on-site laundry service. Guests can dine at the Keepers Cocktail Lounge, which the hotel said is inspired by beekeepers and offers a warm and elegant space.
The June Gap Market and Café will offer a dining space and will sell sustainable ingredients from local producers, freshly prepared meals, grab-and-go pantry samples and beverages.
“The name is a nod to the June Gap, the brief summer stretch when bees rely on what they’ve gathered,” the hotel said.
The Nectar Room offers a 900 square-foot, transformable event space for things like private celebrations, meetings, conferences and cocktail receptions.
The hotel said it plans to open on January 27.
