Snoop Dogg’s daughter shares the death of her 10-month-old daughter

But this weekend, Broadus shared that her 10-month-old had died.

According to People, Broadus, 26, posted a black-and-white photo of herself and her infant daughter, Codi Dreaux, on her Instagram stories on Jan. 31. Broadus added text that read, “Monday I lost the love of my life. My Codi,” along with an emoji of an angel wing.

She added additional photos over the weekend with captions that read, "You were supposed to bury me. Not me bury you, Codi."

People reported that Deuce also shared images with his baby girl and he wrote, "Waiting for someone to tell me to wake up and this is just a bad dream," "I want to join you badly," and “I been the saddest since u left me Codi Dreaux. But I know u at peace. Daddy will always love you.”

The parents didn't mention a cause of death.

Broadus had previously shared on Instagram that Codi was born at just 25 weeks gestation. She spent the majority of her short life in the NICU.

"Thank You God for getting me this far,” Broadus wrote on Instagram when her daughter was born.

She shared more about her own health at the time, writing that she went to the doctor thinking she “just had a bad case of gas.” However, she said she was developing HELLP syndrome.

According to the Cleveland Clinic, HELLP syndrome is a rare pregnancy condition, related to preeclampsia. Symptoms include blurred vision, fatigue, pain in the upper portion of the belly or swelling. It’s common for women with HELLP syndrome to have to deliver early.

In September, Broadus recorded a video while rocking her daughter. In the caption, she wrote. "Becoming a NICU mom was not part of the plan, but it became part of my story. September is NICU Awareness Month, and I carry my little warrior’s strength with me every day."

Codi finally came home from the NICU earlier this year.

On Jan.6, Broadus shared some snuggles with Codi and wrote, "She’s home. 🤍 Thank you for every prayer, every message, every ounce of love. God heard them all. 🕊️✨"

Codi's time at home with her family was brief, and Snoop Dogg, Codi's grandfather, showed his support for Broadus and Duece after the family's loss.

The rapper posted a photo of himself on Instagram with Broadus and her brothers, Cordé and Cordell. His caption was simply, "💖🙏🏾."
