Fixture Pizza Pub in Milwaukee 'closed until further notice'
That's according to a hand-written sign taped to the door, at 623 S. 2nd St., as of Friday morning, Feb. 6 and the voicemail recording when calling the restaurant's phone number.
When a Journal Sentinel reporter stopped by Fixture around 9:30 a.m. Feb. 6, paper "closed" signs were posted on several of the establishment's windows, and the door was nearly completely covered by paper.
The voicemail recording says: "Thank you for calling Fixture Pizza Pub. We will unfortunately be closed until further notice."
Brothers Josh and Jake Taylor opened Fixture in July 2016 with a focus on Milwaukee-style pizza. The menu also includes deep-dish, pastas, sandwiches, appetizers, wings, salads and soup, as well as an extensive beer lineup.
