Social media stars plan Michigan return. When Josh, Jase will be back

English social media influencers Josh and Jase, who made a big splash with their wintry first impressions of Michigan are planning a summer return to the Mitten State.

Jason Riley, also known as Jase, was in Traverse City on Wednesday, April 8, for the Pure Michigan Governor's Conference on Tourism when he made the announcement.

In a Facebook post later Wednesday, the pair officially broke the news.

"I guess the secret is out…," Josh said in the post. "Jase flew in to Michigan for a few days unannounced on social media to attend the 20th anniversary of the Pure Michigan conference. The reason being… *drumroll* We are going to be coming back to Michigan in the summer so Jase wanted to connect with as many people as possible to make sure we have the best trip this summer."

Jase will visit Arkansas on his own from the April 15-27 and the pair will visit Michigan this summer to experience things they missed during their winter visit.

This past winter, the duo covered the west side of the state while working their way northward. In video clips posted online, they captured their disbelief at Lake Michigan's size, sand and wave action; they dined at recommended restaurants, including Sleder's Family Tavern in Traverse City and Wally's Bar & Grill in Saugatuck; they even attended a Hope College basketball game while visiting Holland; and a Northern Michigan University hockey game while in Marquette; among other experiences.

The pair also tried sledding for the first time at Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, and visited Boyne Mountain's "Iglu" and 118-foot high suspension SkyBridge — which they considered a warmup to crossing the Mackinac Bridge.

How can I see Josh and Jase's travel content?

The English travel content creators post regularly on their socials — TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and on Josh's Facebook page.

While documenting their travels, Josh and Jase, who have 758,000-plus followers on Instagram and TikTok, have captured the attention of local businesses and residents, who've flooded their comment section with recommendations on where to visit.

They encourage locals to give recommendations via the comment sections to dictate where they venture to next.

Why was Josh in a Michigan hospital?

Later it was revealed that Cauldwell-Clarke had torn a ligament in his back.
