Leashed and Local brings back barket event for dog lovers

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Leashed and Local is bringing back its dog-themed Barket event at Furologist on May 30 from 12-4 p.m., featuring around 40 local vendors, food trucks, and an adoptable dog fashion show.

Hosted by Jasmine LeClair alongside Courtney Gibb and Samantha Mello, the free community event highlights all things dog-related in a fun, family-friendly setting. LeClair and local business Mountain Dogs Basecamp joined Loving Living Local hosts Krista Witiak and Justin Antweil to invite the community to come out, shop local, enjoy food and entertainment, and celebrate dogs of all kinds.

The event will feature vendors, food trucks, adoptable dogs, and a variety of pet-focused products and activities. Elizabeth Dinschel with Mountain Dogs Basecamp, along with her Great Pyrenees, Betty White, also joined in studio.

The Barket is free and open to the public and will be held at Furologist, 409 Juanita St. in Colorado Springs, from 12-4 p.m.
