BottleRock Napa Valley is back for its 13th edition, bringing Foo Fighters, Lorde, Backstreet Boys, LCD Soundsystem, Teddy Swims and Sombr to downtown Napa for Memorial Day weekend.

The three-day music, wine and culinary festival is scheduled to take over the Napa Valley Expo from Friday-Sunday, May 22-24, where more than 80 acts will perform across multiple stages. The 2026 lineup leans into the festival's broad generational reach, pairing rock veterans, pop stars, hip-hop heavyweights, R&B legends, electronic acts and rising artists with the upscale food-and-wine experience that has become the annual event's signature.

"It really is a cross-generational celebration of popular music," Dave Graham, a partner at BottleRock Napa Valley, told The Chronicle. "Our audience is incredibly diverse - we have attendees ranging from kids to grandparents. When you know that's your fan base, you have to speak to all of them."

BottleRock has become one of Napa's defining annual events since its 2013 debut, drawing large crowds into downtown and introducing the region to visitors who may return for restaurants, hotels and wineries.

A City of Napa-commissioned economic impact summary found that BottleRock drew 127,500 attendees in 2025. The report estimated the festival generated $40.7 million in local economic impact, and combined with its sister Latin music festival La Onda (canceled this year), supported 1,225 local jobs and produced $22.2 million in wages.

Here's what to know before heading to Napa.

BottleRock remains the Bay Area's most polished major music festival - less dusty campout, more Wine Country weekend.

The crowd tends to be multigenerational, with parents, children, longtime rock fans, pop listeners, foodies and Wine Country regulars moving between stages, chef demonstrations and shaded drinking areas. The festival still books plenty of rock, but its identity now stretches well beyond one genre.

That range is part of the draw. BottleRock has become as much a Napa hospitality showcase as a music festival, with a luxury infrastructure that includes cabanas, upgraded viewing areas, culinary programming, wine gardens and premium ticket tiers.
