The historic event is now in its 113th year.
The Chelsea Flower Show is one of the most anticipated fixtures on the royal calendar each spring. Held annually on the grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea and hosted by the Royal Horticultural Society, the show has been a showcase for horticultural excellence since 1913, drawing visitors and exhibitors from around the world. Each year’s event attracts, on average, more than 150,000 visitors over five days, with the first two days reserved for members of the Royal Horticultural Society, which organizes the show.

Fresh off an appearance on the Cannes red carpet, Joan Collins is back in London, dressed more casually in a Western-inspired look with a taupe fringe jacket and wide-brim hat. The legendary British actress was visiting the Lady Garden Foundation’s “Silent No More” Garden, an installation designed to raise awareness around gynecological cancers.
The RHS was established in 1804 and has been staging flower shows since 1833, first in West London and later in Kensington before settling at its current Chelsea location in the early 20th century. King Charles was named as the royal patron of the RHS in 2024, taking over a role that his mother, Queen Elizabeth, held for 70 years until her death in 2022.

Prince Harry’s former girlfriend, Cressida Bonas, also made an appearance, dressed ready for summer in a striped pink top and skirt from Penelope Chilvers.

British comedienne Joanna Lumley was ready for a day in the garden in a straw fedora with a tulip print coat from London-based label NRBY.

Stephen Libby, who appeared on season four of The Traitors UK, elevated the “garden party chic” dress code guidance in this chocolate brown long coat with white trousers.

Dominic West, who famously played Prince Charles during the later seasons of The Crown, also stopped by, although it’s unclear if he ran into his onscreen counterpart.

Nicky Hilton Rothschild, seen with British environmentalist Ben Goldsmith and photographer Jemima Jones, made her Chelsea Flower Show debut in a tan coat with a pastel green handbag and Dior heels.

British broadcast journalist and Celebrity Traitors UK fan favorite Kate Garraway dressed on theme in this white suit with a large floral print.

Based in the UK for many years now, Kim Cattrall illustrated the classic British prep look in a blush-pink double-breasted blazer, white cable-knit sweater, and ivory wide-leg trousers.

Britain’s queen of cakes, Mary Berry, is a regular at the Chelsea Flower Show each year. The former Great British Baking Show judge looked lovely in a pink polka dot dress from Holland Cooper.

A close friend of Queen Camilla and occasionally seen at royal events, Judi Dench was all smiles on the first day of the Chelsea Flower Show, seen here with British TV presenter Ben Shepherd.

The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, appeared at the Boodles Garden on Monday. The installation draws inspiration from four historical sites in and around London: the layout of the Tower of London, the architectural elements of Hampton Court Palace, the decorative ceiling of the Picnic Room in Queen Charlotte’s Cottage at Kew Palace, and deep red tones from the wallpaper at Kensington Palace.

There was a small Bridgerton reunion at the show on Monday. Here Rosheuvel and Ruth Gemmell, who plays family matriarch Violet Bridgerton on the Netflix series, are seen with landscape designer Catherine MacDonald. Her third year at the Chelsea Flower Show, MacDonald was the mind behind the Boodles Garden, the site of Monday’s reception.

Bridgerton’s Golda Rosheuvel left Queen Charlotte’s elaborate gowns at home and opted for something far more modern and comfortable in this dark tailored suit with a bright silk scarf and black and white sneakers.

Adjoa Andoh, who plays the formidable Lady Danbury on Bridgerton, was dressed perfectly for transitional weather in a pastel tweed two-piece suit with a long-sleeve shirt underneath.

Lady Amelia Windsor, a cousin of Prince William and Prince Harry who is 44th in the line of succession, stepped out in a green and purple floral print maxi dress from Madrid-based clothing brand Sophie and Lucie.

Lady Eliza Spencer and Lady Amelia Spencer, the twin nieces of Princess Diana, opted for all-black cocktail attire by Dune London, stopping by the flower show in the evening.

After a full weekend at the Royal Chelsea Horse Show with her husband, Prince Edward, and daughter, Lady Louise, the Duchess of Edinburgh toured the show, dressed in a rose-hued long coat.

The Princess Royal appeared to be wearing her floral gold brooch, which is set with emeralds, sapphires, and rubies. Princess Anne has worn this one to many events over the last few decades, and recently to the opening of a new memorial garden dedicated to her late mother, Queen Elizabeth.

Princess Anne and her husband, Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence, also joined the King and Queen for press day at the flower show.

The Queen, known to love a good brooch, wore one of her “bug brooches” from her personal collection. This one appeared to be the horsefly, which features a sapphire also set with diamond wings.

Queen Camilla, dressed more casually in a Fiona Clare jacket with a floral dress and carrying a Bottega Veneta “Casette” clutch, is seen touring the Parkinson's UK “A Garden for Every Parkinson's Journey” installation with designer Arit Anderson (right). The jewel-toned perennials and annuals were chosen for their qualities to uplift and energize, while the woodland elements reflect calmness.

David Beckham has become something of a fixture at the Chelsea Flower Show. The retired English footballer joined the King and Queen last year in support of King Charles’s charity, The King’s Trust, for an event around getting more young people interested in horticulture. Here, the co-owner of the soccer team Inter Miami CF, who has since received a knighthood, is seen touring The King's Foundation Curious Garden with King Charles.

The King also greeted Zinc, a friendly cocker spaniel, while visiting the show on press day.

Among one of the flowers being showcased this year is The King’s Rose, a new and unique English shrub named in honor of King Charles. The fuchsia and white striped flower took 12 years to create.

King Charles toured the new gardens on display upon arrival on Monday, including the Tokonoma Garden, inspired by a traditional Japanese courtyard.

Vanessa Williams also attended Chilvers event, dressed in a pale yellow and navy floral print coupe coat and matching dress from The Fold London.

Lady Amelia Windsor was back for a second day, checking out British designer Penelope Chilvers’s installation “The Flower Room” with journalist and bestselling author Yomi Adegoke, whose works include The List and Slay in Your Lane.

Irish president Catherine Connolly stopped by the Chelsea Flower Show on the second day of a three-day trip to the UK. Connolly met with King Charles at Buckingham Palace on Monday. She will visit the London Irish Center in Camden later on Tuesday and Leeds University on Wednesday before completing her tour.
