Northeast Ohio’s Grand River Valley has more than 30 boutique wineries offering cool-climate whites, crips roses, exciting bubbles and signature ice wines. Day Dream Farm Winery & Mead in Rock Creek and D&D Meadery in Mentor offer specialty meads for honey lovers or history buffs. Buy a bottle of wine to stuff a stocking or a case to hand out for host/hostess gifts. Most wineries have gift shops with additional items to dress up your wine gift. Visiting the wineries to shop is a bonus for the gifter, though many are found on grocery shelves.

Northeast Ohio Spirits
Northeast Ohio has more than a dozen distilleries. With offerings from agave spirits and bourbons to gin, vodka and rum, you’ll find something for every boozehound on your list. Supper Club Experiences

Local wineries, wine stores and some restaurants have wine clubs. For those unfamiliar these are basically subscription services organized by the winery or wine retailer. Membership is often free, but members must purchase an agreed upon number of bottles at specific intervals. They may receive two to 12 bottles as often as every month or spread out to twice a year.
