Light up Louisville brings Christmas cheer to downtown. See photos

The 45th annual Light Up Louisville took over downtown Saturday, bringing with it a parade, live entertainment, holiday treats, a vendor village, and the arrival of jolly ole' Saint Nick.

The main event, which includes the lighting of the city's Christmas tree, took place outside of Metro Hall at Jefferson and Sixth streets.

Light Up Louisville also featured a drone show, video-mapping show on Metro Hall, free photos with Santa, and trackless train rides aboard the Jolly Jingle Express, plus singing groups, a gourmet hot chocolate bar, activities for kids and vendors with specialty holiday gifts for sale and more.
