"Worn towels are perfect for pets because absorbency matters more than appearance," says Karlidag. "They’re especially useful for muddy paws, post-bath drying or lining crates and car seats."
3) Kitchen Drying Mats
You can never have too many kitchen drying mats if you spend a lot of time cooking. "Old towels make great reusable drying pads for washed produce or dishes," Karlidag tells GH. "They’re also useful for lining bowls when proofing bread or covering dough something many home cooks don’t think about."
