Little Caesars to celebrate opening of Michigan self-service location
Little Caesars is now operating its first Michigan contactless, self-service, shelf-checkout location.
A Dearborn Heights Little Caesars location at 25320 Van Born Road is the chain’s second of its kind across the country.
Its first self-service, self-checkout location opened in Rockford, Illinois, last year.
Now operating since April 4, Little Caesars will celebrate the Dearborn Heights debut on Saturday, May 2. As part of the celebration, the first 100 guests in line beginning at 10:30 a.m. will receive free pizza for a year. Those customers will be awarded the pizza as one free pizza per week for a year, with the additional purchase each week of the chain’s Crazy Bread.

A new self-service and self-checkout Little Caesars pizza location is now open in Dearborn Heights.
At the Dearborn Heights locations, customers can order through the Little Caesars mobile app or online walk and pick up in the store's dedicated Mobile Order Pickup Zone.
Little Caesars says its crew members are onsite in the back of the house, monitoring the restaurant, restocking items and helping guests as needed.
The location also accommodates walk-in customers, offering Hot-N-Ready Self-Serve stations with pre-made pizzas like its classic pepperoni, its Crazy Bread, and other items that are ready and available for purchase. Customers select and grab an item, scan and pay at the self-checkout. The restaurant accepts cash, debit/credit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
Nearly two weeks ago, the Detroit-born chain announced a new AI feature that helps customers with selecting what they want to order, including help with figuring out what and how much to order.
This new self-service, self-checkout restaurant, according to a news release, serves guests 10:30 a.m.-11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday. Hours on Friday and Saturday are extended until midnight.
