Find produce and crafts at these 12 Peoria-area farmers markets in 2026

Fresh produce, flowers and other items will soon fill the stands at farmers markets in the Peoria area. Multiple markets will take place on Saturday morning, while others will operate on weeknights.

Canton Main Street Farmers Market

Details: Hosted from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. each Saturday, the market starts on May 30. The season continues through September.

Address: 5 N. Main St., Canton, at Jones Park

East Peoria Farmer’s Market

Details: Held from June 5 through Aug. 28, the market takes place from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. each Friday – excluding July 3.

Address: 396 W. Washington St., East Peoria

Elmwood Farmer's Market

Details: Hosted each Friday from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., the Elmwood market runs from June 12 through Aug. 28.

Address: 110 E. Main St., Elmwood, at Elmwood Central Park

Germantown Hills Farmer’s Market

Details: Beginning June 6, the market will take place on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.The season continues into October.

Address: The market takes place at the Germantown Crossing shopping center near 505 Jubilee Lane.

Metamora Farmers Market

Details: Hosted from 8 a.m. to noon each Saturday, the market begins on June 6. The season continues through the end of September.

Address: Located on the square near 113 E. Partridge St., Metamora

Morton Farmers Market N More

Details: Starting June 2, the market will operate from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. each Tuesday. The season runs through August.

The Original Festival of Food Trucks

Details: Hosted the third Monday of the month, the event features food trucks and a variety of other vendors from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Pekin Farmers Market

Details: Hosted each Thursday from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., the season runs from June 4 through Aug. 27 – with one additional day on Oct. 15

Peoria Farmers Market at Metro Centre

Details: Starting May 2, various vendors will set up shop at the Peoria Farmers Market at Metro Centre. The community will find vendors including Garden Spot Vegetable Farm and Hammer’s Farm Market.

The season is expected to run through October. Hours may vary by vendor. Garden Spot, for example, expects to only operate Saturdays until late June. Hammer’s will only operate on Saturdays until June.

Peoria Riverfront Market

Details: Starting May 23, the market will take place each Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon. The season runs through Sept. 26.

Address: The 200 block of SW Water Street by the River Station building

Sheridan Market

Details: Starting May 6, the market will operate from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesdays. The season continues into September.  

Address: 3827 N. Sheridan Road, Peoria

West Peoria Farmer’s Market

Details: The market will take place from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. each Wednesday beginning May 27 and running through Sept. 2.

Address: Franciscan Recreation Complex at 908 N. Sterling Ave., West Peoria
