Queen Camilla styles Boden for reception in London
Queen Camilla favored a new design by Boden on Tuesday for her charitable engagement at London's Clarence House to celebrate the Medical Detection Dogs charity.
Often styled in dresses by Fiona Clare Aldridge and Anna Valentine, the U.K.'s queen consort opted for something new. Queen Camilla wore a smocked jersey shirtdress in Merida red with a decorative blossom pattern.
Despite being a different brand than the British royal family member often wears, elements of her style remained consistent. The midi dress featured a sharp collar and dark buttons down the front placket of the bodice of the dress.
A smocked bodice gave the dress a slight casual bent, while the flowing midi skirt complemented Queen Camilla. A cinched waist added further silhouette definition.
The U.K.'s queen consort added a pair of neutral suede pumps to her attire, and favored gold jewelry pieces - including her usual Van Cleef & Arpels bracelets. During the event Queen Camilla chatted with Kate Middleton's brother, James Middleton - a longtime dog lover who published his 2024 memoir "Meet Ella: The Dog Who Saved My Life" about his beloved cocker spaniel.
Queen Camilla's Boden selection is a departure from her usual royal wardrobe. The queen consort regularly cycles throughout new and reworn pieces by Anna Valentine and Fiona Clare Aldridge, both based in the U.K.
Boden, a British label, might be a fresh inclusion into the British royal family member's royal wardrobe, especially with the 2026 summer season just around the corner.
Queen Camilla has been a longtime supporter of the Medical Detection Dogs organization. Serving the charity as a patron, Queen Camilla's engagement at London's Clarence House celebrated the work the MDD does - training life-saving Medical Alert Assistance Dogs and Bio Detection Dogs, both of which can be trained to detect even the tiniest trace of the smell caused by a medical condition.
