Utah summer festivals 2026: Here’s a list of all the fun events planned across the state

In cities and small towns alike across Utah, summertime means some sort of festival or celebration — with parades, fireworks, live music and other forms of fun.

Here’s a rundown of more than 40 planned community events, listed by county. Many are free, while some require tickets; best to check before making the trip.

Box Elder County

Peach Days • Sept. 9-12 • For more than 100 years, Brigham City has celebrated the peach harvest with this post-Labor Day event. Activities include a car show, quilt shows, a beard contest, free concerts and more. • Main Street, Brigham City. Information at boxelderchamber.com.

Farmington Festival Days • July 6-11 • A chalk art festival, pickleball tournaments, a parade and a car show, among other activities. • Forbush Park, 100 Main, Farmington. Information at farmington.utah.gov.

Handcart Days • July 24-25 • Food and games, and a concert by Jenny Oaks Baker & Family Four on July 24. On July 25, the parade (featuring many of the floats that will have appeared in the Days of ‘47 Parade the day before), plus more park activities and fireworks. • Bountiful City Park, 400 N. 200 West, Bountiful. Melon Days • Sept. 18-19 • Celebrating 120 years of growing melons in Green River. A parade, a fun run, a melon-carving contest and more. • O.K. Anderson Park, 100 Solomon St., Green River. Information at melon-days.com.

Utah Shakespeare Festival • June 18-Oct. 3 • Theater lovers are expected to flock to Cedar City for the festival’s 65th season. The plays being performed this year: The Shakespeare titles “Troilus and Cressida” (June 18-Sept. 3), “Hamlet” (June 19-Sept. 4) and “Twelfth Night” (June 20-Sept. 5), as well as the musical “Something Rotten!” (June 22-Oct. 3), the farce “See How They Run” (June 23-Sept. 4), the musical “She Loves Me” (June 24-Oct. 3), an adaptation of Mary Shelley’s “Frankenstein” (July 13-Oct. 3), and the comedy “The Book Club Play” (July 14-Oct. 3). Bear Lake Raspberry Days • Aug. 6-8 • Celebrating the annual raspberry harvest, this three-day event includes a vendor fair, pie-eating contests, live music and the Bear Lake Boat Parade (with fireworks). • Heritage Park, 69 N. Living Traditions Festival • May 15-17 • Marking its 40th year, this three-day event celebrates the many different cultures that make up Salt Lake City — through food, dance and music performances, and artisans demonstrating crafts from around the world. Presented by the Salt Lake City Arts Council, partnering with the Utah Division of Arts & Museums. • Civic Center (Library Square and Washington Square), 200 E. 400 South, Salt Lake City. Busker Fest SLC • May 29-30 • The annual celebration of street performance, featuring around 100 Utah acts plus some international performers. • On Main Street and Regent Street, between 100 and 200 South, surrounding the Eccles Theater (at 131 S. Main), 5 to 10 p.m. both nights. Free admission. Information at buskerfestslc.com.

Utah Pride Festival • June 3-7 • Utah’s LGBTQ+ community and allies celebrate with music, food, vendors and more. The big celebration happens Saturday and Sunday, June 6 and 7. A rally and march precedes the June 6 events, from the Capitol to the festival site; the Utah Pride Parade goes through downtown Salt Lake City on June 7. Acoustic Music Strolls • June 11 and 18 • Presented in connection with Busker Fest SLC, the strolls invite people to walk along the Jordan River Parkway while listening to musicians on the route. • Jordan Park, by the International Peace Gardens, at 1060 S. 900 West, Salt Lake City; 6 to 8 p.m. both nights. Gina Bachauer International Piano Festival • June 14-27 • An international competition of young and junior piano artists. The junior competition (ages 11 to 14) is June 14 to 20; the young artists competition (ages 15 to 18) runs June 21 to 27, and concludes with a final round with the Utah Symphony. • Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center, 138 W. 300 South, and Abravanel Hall, 123 W. Utah Arts Festival • June 18-21 • The festival highlights many forms of art — visual, dance, music, spoken word and more. The national music headliners are: Rap legend GZA (of Wu-Tang Clan) on Thursday; country-soul musician Yola on Friday; Americana/folk/rock musician Shakey Graves on Saturday; and “discodelic soul” trio Say She She on Sunday. • Civic Center (Library Square and Washington Square), 200 E. 400 South, Salt Lake City. Fort Herriman Towne Days • June 19-27 • A carnival, concerts, fireworks, a parade and a “Yeti Run.” • Butterfield Park, 6212 Butterfield Park Way, Herriman. Information at herriman.gov.

Taylorsville Dayzz • June 25-27 • Celebrating 30 years, Taylorsville’s big event features concerts, a carnival, a parade, food booths, a car show and fireworks. • Valley Regional Park, 5100 S. 2700 West, Taylorsville. Information at taylorsvilleut.gov.

Riverton Town Days • June 25-27, July 2-4 • The first weekend is centered around a rodeo. The second weekend features a carnival, children’s activities, vendor booths, and fireworks on Independence Day. • Riverton City Park, 1452 W. 12600 South, Riverton. Information at riverton.gov/towndays.

SLC Pride • June 27-28 • This grassroots event that bills itself as “a weekend of authenticity, queer joy, community and suicide prevention” is going to be a block party on 400 West this year. It’s free to the public. • 400 West and 400 North, Salt Lake City. Information at slc-pride.org.

Western Stampede • July 2-4 • West Jordan will mark the Independence Day weekend with a rodeo and supporting activities — including a parade on Redwood Road and a vendor fair. • West Jordan Arena, 8125 S. 2200 West, West Jordan. Tickets available at westernstampede.com.

Draper Days • July 10-18 • The first weekend features a rodeo. The rest of the festival includes a car show, parade, fireworks, a concert and “Draper Idol.” • Mostly at Draper Park, 12500 S. 1300 East, Draper. Information at draperutah.gov.

Days of ‘47 • July 18-25 • The annual celebration starts in Salt Lake City with the First Encampment Hike — from Donner Park (2770 E. 990 South) to First Encampment Park (1700 South and 500 East) on July 18. Then, on July 21-22, the float preview party happens at Mountain American Expo Center, at 9575 S. State St. in Sandy. The annual rodeo runs July 21-25 at the Utah State Fairpark. On July 24, the Deseret News Marathon and the Days of ‘47 Parade will run through downtown Salt Lake City. • Various locations. Information at Daysof47.com.

Butlerville Days • July 16-18 • Cottonwood Heights’ own July celebration, with a parade, vendors, carnival, car show, chalk art, live entertainment and fireworks. • Butler Park, 7500 S. 2700 East, Cottonwood Heights. Information at cottonwoodheights.utah.gov.

Harvest Days • July 27-Aug. 1 • Midvale’s annual celebration features neighborhood block parties, a Saturday parade, food trucks, vendors, carnival games and Saturday night fireworks. • Midvale City Park, 425 6th Ave., Midvale. Information at engagemidvale.com/2025-harvest-days.

Sanpete County

Lamb Days • July 17-18 • Activities include a craft fair, a Friday morning wool show, a Saturday morning parade and Saturday night fireworks. • Fountain Green City Park, 350 W. Center St., Fountain Green. Information at lambdays.com.

Pioneer Days • July 20-26 • A rodeo from July 21 to 24, plus an artisan market, demolition derby and fireworks on July 25. • Keller Arena, Fairview. Tickets (for rodeo and demolition derby) and information at fairviewcity.com.

Summit County

Deer Valley Music Festival • July 17-Aug. 15 • Eight concerts under the stars with the Utah Symphony, with headliners like alt-country legend Lyle Lovett (July 31), trumpeter Chris Botti (Aug. 1) and Broadway and Disney star Idina Menzel (Aug. 8). The festival includes four smaller chamber concerts. • Snow Park Amphitheater, 2250 Deer Valley Dr., Park City; chamber shows at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 1505 White Pine Canyon Rd., Park City. Park City Kimball Arts Festival • Aug. 7-9 • Dozens of artist booths are expected to line Park City’s Old Main for this often offbeat arts festival. • Old Main Street, Park City. Tickets at kimballartfestival.org.

Park City Wine Festival • Oct. 1-3 • More than 100 wineries, from California to France, are expected to be featured in grand tastings. Also on the bill: Paired dinners and lunches, wine hikes and other events. • Canyons Village and various restaurants, Park City. Tickets at parkcitywinefest.com.

Utah County

Cedar Hills Family Festival • May 30-June 6 • A week of activities, leading up to a finale on the second Saturday with a parade, concert, fireworks and more. • Heritage Park, 4444 W. 9860 North, Cedar Hills. Information at cedarhills.org.

Art City Days • June 6-13 • Springville’s annual summer celebration includes a rodeo, the multicultural ¡CelebrARTE! celebration, a children’s art fest, parades, concerts, fireworks and more. • Civic Center Park, 110 S. Main, Springville. Information at springville.org/art-city-days.

OremFest • June 8-13 • The annual celebration of “Family City USA” includes a car show, pool party, pickleball and cornhole tournaments, music, carnival rides, a talent contest, a parade, fireworks and more. • Most events at City Center Park, Center Street and 300 East, Orem. Splash Days • June 10-13 • Saratoga Springs’ annual summer event, starting with a water party at Shay Park, includes a carnival, a movie night, concerts and a parade at Neptune Park. • Shay Park, 516 W. Strawberry Days • June 12-21 • In its 105th year, Pleasant Grove’s celebration is the oldest of its kind in Utah. This year’s theme is “Stars, Stripes and Strawberries.” Events include a rodeo, carnival, craft fair, parade and more. • Downtown Park, 200 S. Main, and Veterans Memorial Park, 300 S. Lehi Round-Up Week • June 21-27 • A bunch of events tied to the Lehi Rodeo, with the theme “Stars, Stripes and Sparkles.” Events include the grand parade, the miniature parade and a market. • Mostly at Wines Park, 100 E. 600 North, Lehi. Information at lehi-ut.gov/roundup.

America’s Freedom Festival • July 2-4 • The big action is Stadium of Fire, headlined by country star Brad Paisley and a whole lot of fireworks, at LaVell Edwards Stadium in Provo on July 4. But the festival has a whole series of events, including a “Colonial Fest,” a grand parade, and more. • Various locations in Provo. Tickets and information at freedomfestival.org.

Payson Scottish Festival • July 10-11 • Two days to revel in Payson’s Scottish heritage, with pipers and other musicians performing and demonstrations of “heavy athletics.” • Memorial Park, 300 S. Main, Payson. Information at paysonscottishfestival.org.

Steel Days • July 18-25 • American Fork started Steel Days in honor of the then-new Columbia Steel Mill. Events include a car show, tournaments (golf, Mario Kart, pickleball, horseshoes and Wiffle ball among them), culminating with events on July 25: a parade, carnival, a food and vendor market, live entertainment and fireworks. • Mostly at Art Dye Park, 1000 N. 550 East, American Fork. Fiesta Days • July 18-25 • Spanish Fork’s big celebration includes a carnival, a rodeo and the big events on July 24: A parade, quilt show, concert and fireworks. • Mostly at City Park, 49 S. Main, and Sports Park, 295 Volunteer Drive, both in Spanish Fork. Information at spanishfork.gov.

Highland Fling • July 30-Aug. 1 • Among the slew of activities, this event includes the Highland Games, a two-day demonstration of Scottish feats of strength. • Heritage Park, 10400 N. Alpine Way, Highland. Information at highlandut.gov.

Lindon Days • Aug. 1-8 • The week of events has the theme “Stars, Stripes and Small-Town Nights.” It begins with a Sunday concert and ends with a day of activities — including fireworks. In between are a junior rodeo, aquatic events and more. • Lindon City Center Park, 200 N. State, and Pheasant Brook Park, 400 N. 800 West, Lindon. Information at lindonrecreation.org/lindon-days.

Alpine Days • Aug. 8-15 • A week of events include a rodeo, chalk art, the “Alpine’s Got Talent” show and more, culminating on Aug. 15 and 15 with a carnival, live music, a Saturday parade and Saturday night fireworks. • Creekside Park, 100 South and 600 East, Alpine. Golden Onion Days • Sept. 3-7 • Labor Day weekend in Payson means a celebration of the onion harvest. Activities include an art show, car show, flower show and pickleball tournament. • Payson Memorial Park, 300 S. Main, Payson. Information at paysonutah.gov.

Midway Swiss Days • Sept. 4-5 • Midway celebrates its Swiss heritage, with two days of food vendors (cash only) and free entertainment. • Town Square, 75 S. 100 West, Midway. Peach Days • Sept. 3-5 • For Labor Day weekend, Hurricane hosts an array of events, including a collection of community displays in fine arts, home arts, garden, canning, baking and small farm categories. Cherry Days • June 27-July 4 • The biggest part of the event is on July 4, which includes a parade, vendor market, a concert and fireworks. • North Ogden Park, North Ogden. Information at NorthOgdenCity.com.

Roy Days • July 31-Aug. 1 • The community event begins July 31 with a salmon bake dinner and an outdoor screening of “The Super Mario Galaxy Movie” at Emma Russell Park.
