When do pools open around Oklahoma City? See 2026 summer schedule

The time to lie down under the sun or enjoy the refreshing water is nearly here, as Oklahoma City area pools are set to reopen soon for the summer.

Public pools across the metro, as well as most waterparks and private pools, close after Labor Day as temperatures cool down, and many reopen for the summer season after Memorial Day.

Here's when major Oklahoma City metro pools reopen in 2026.

Oklahoma City public pools

Two family aquatic centers in Oklahoma City will be open May 23 through Aug. 2, from 1 to 6 p.m. Tuesdays through Sundays. From August 3 to 30, the locations will only open on weekends.

  • Earlywine Family Aquatic Center, 3101 SW 119
  • Will Rogers Family Aquatic Center, 3201 N Grand Blvd

Oklahoma City also operates Northeast Community Pool, 1226 NE 33, which will be open June 9 through Aug. 2, from 1 to 6 p.m. Tuesdays through Sundays.

Westwood Family Aquatic Center

Westwood Family Aquatic Center in Norman will open May 23 through Aug. 7, opening every day from 1 to 8 p.m. and 1 to 6 p.m. on Sunday. The pool will follow "Back to School" hours from Aug. 8 through Sept. 7, only opening from 1 to 6 p.m. over the weekend.

OKANA outdoor waterpark

OKANA Resort's seasonal outdoor waterpark, OKANA Beach, will reopen on May 16. Hours are from 10 a.m. through 7 p.m. until Aug. 15.

OKANA's indoor waterpark is open year-round.

Six Flags Hurricane Harbor

The Six Flags Hurricane Harbor waterpark reopens on May 23 and remains open daily until Aug. 9. It is open on weekends only during August and early September.

Spraygrounds

Spraygrounds in Oklahoma City will be open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day from Saturday, May 23, through Sunday, Sept. 27.
