An array of food trucks, local music acts, artists and merchants will be the main attractions at the monthly First Friday Art Walk and Downtown Daytona Nights on Friday, Oct. 3, along Beach Street at Magnolia Avenue in Daytona Beach.
The free, family-friendly event unfolds from 5-9 p.m., with its spotlight on work by area artists, culinary treats from more than a dozen food trucks as well as sounds from guest musicians and DJs.
The food truck event is coupled with the monthly Art Walk, showcasing nearly a dozen Beach Street galleries and shops.
Participating businesses are Aberrant Art Gallery; BOHO Society 71 – Riverside Market; Cinematique; Etrusca Gallery; Galerie Elan; Halifax Historical Museum; Macker Seafood; Madeline’s Wine Bar; Salon 230/Spa Above; Hatfield’s Hideaway; and VJL Art Gallery.

The monthly Downtown Daytona Nights event returns on Friday, Oct. 3, along Beach Street in downtown Daytona Beach.
It happens monthly, so if you miss this edition, you have more chances to check it out.
Experience Art & Artisan Stroll on New Smyrna Beach's Canal Street
It’s the first Saturday of the month, which means another big day of events in the Canal Street Historic District of New Smyrna Beach.
It kicks off with an Art & Artisan Stroll from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4 along the bustling stretch of the Canal Street business district. The event also features live music from noon-2 p.m. Free admission.

The monthly Sip & Stroll event returns on Saturday, Oct. 4, to the popular Canal Street district in New Smyrna Beach.
From 1-6 p.m., festivities continue with a Sip & Stroll event in the Canal Street Historic District.
Tickets for that event are $25 (including tax), which includes a self-guided passport, drink tickets, wristband and souvenir glass to enjoy craft beer and wine from 14 participating establishments. Returning participants with their souvenir glass can get $2 off the ticket price, but they must be bought in person.
Tickets can be purchased day-of-the-event in-person for CASH ONLY at the Info Booth at Christmas Park.
Tickets also may be purchased online until 5 p.m. Saturday by filling out a form and making payment at canalstreetnsb.com.
Participants must be 21 years of age or older, proof of age is required at check-in. Please bring your entire party and PayPal receipt to the Info Booth.
It’s car cruising’ time at One Daytona
Another first-Saturday fixture unfolds as the monthly Cruisin’ Car Show rolls into One Daytona, across the street from Daytona International Speedway.
Hosted by the East Coast Cruisers, the show runs from 3-6 p.m. in the Victory Circle outdoor event space at One Daytona.
It features an array of collectible cars, ranging from muscle cars and hot rods to classic cruisers and customs. Free admission.
More art in Ormond Beach
Work by more artists will be showcased on Saturday at the monthly Ormond Art Walk along galleries on Granada Boulevard in Ormond Beach.
The monthly first-Saturday event offers an opportunity to stroll and survey the works in an array of the city’s fine art galleries — Ocean Art Gallery, Frame of Mind, Arts on Granada, Thays Art Gallery and Studio, The Casements and Ocean Child Boutique — as well as the Ormond Memorial Art Museum and Gardens.

It's time for another Ormond Beach Art Walk among the galleries and museums along Granada Boulevard in Ormond Beach.
Guests also are invited to visit additional downtown shops featuring artists for the evening. An Art Walk shuttle sponsored by AdventHealth makes it easy to visit venues on both the east and west side of the Granada Boulevard bridge.

In Flagler, a First Friday celebration
Not to be outdone, Flagler Beach offers its own monthly First Friday party.
The free event runs from 6-9 p.m. Friday at Veterans Park, 101 N. Ocean Shore Blvd., in Flagler Beach.
It features free live music, crafts and food from local vendors, kids activities and a lovely beachside backdrop for a family-friendly celebration. Nearby businesses and museums stay open later for the occasion.
