Starbucks' Holiday Cups Are Finally Here—See The Collection
- Starbucks has announced the annual return of its beloved holiday cups, available in stores starting November 6.
- The cups feature festive ribbon or plaid motifs in red or green.
- There are both hot and cold cup options for whatever beverage you order.
According to the queen of the holiday season, Mariah Carey, "It's tiiiiimmeee!" As soon as the clock strikes midnight on Halloween, people bring in their tombstones and spooky wreaths and replace them with string lights, garlands, and Advent calendars to start the countdown to the holidays. Not one to miss out on the (very) early switch to holiday season, Starbucks has released its annual holiday cup collection, available in stores beginning November 6.
The coffee chain has made the swap from its traditional cups to holiday cups every year since 1997, and according to Starbucks' creative director Kristy Cameron, "There’s something unmistakably magical about that moment the cups arrive – it’s as if the season officially begins."
This year, the cup designs took inspiration from the chain's barista aprons, showcasing a playful ribbon design in both red and green. Accompanying the ribbon motif is a plaid holiday pattern, which Cameron says, "feels like little wrapped gifts for our customers." Each cup also has a little tag on the back that is "perfect for writing a message."
