This Chic, Affordable Aussie Label Has Become My Go-To For Everyday Basics
If you’re an avid shopper like me, you’ll know that tracking down chic yet affordable basics isn’t as simple as it sounds. From designs that don’t last the distance to ones that seem perfect online, only to arrive at your door looking completely different, it’s a trying task that often lends its way to a wardrobe full of things you never actually wear.
In recent years, I’ve transitioned to crafting the elusive capsule wardrobe—or, as one of my colleagues would call it, a ‘Nice Lady’ wardrobe. Basically, it’s a collection of the key pieces that are going to transcend seasons while offering a stylish edge. The only problem most of these finds have in common? If you’re looking for work appropriate pieces that aren’t going to fall apart at the seams when being worn daily, I’d seriously recommend. Plus, if you’re looking for some beautifully breezy and lightweight pieces for SS24, then prepare to add-to-cart some of Aere’s latest arrivals. It was the label’s commitment to sustainability that kept me going back though (as well as the expertly crafted pieces). The brand plans to introduce organic cotton, hemp, recycled polyester and Tencel into the range, as well as given themselves a mission to have 90% of pieces designed with sustainable fibres by 2025.
