Champagne toasts. Lobster bisque. Charcuterie and entrees from seafood to surf and turf to lamb chops.
All over metro Detroit, you can say bye-bye to 2025 and deliciously cheer in 2026. Restaurants and bars are ready to welcome guests with special dinners, party favors, midnight toasts and more.
Here’s a sampling of what some are offering. Most places require reservations, which can be made through OpenTable.com. It’s also best to check hours; some might be adjusted for the holidays. Prices listed, unless noted, do not include tax, gratuity, alcohol or other beverages.
Aurora Italiana
West Bloomfield
Two seatings are available, each with its own 4-course menu, with choices of starter, pasta, main entrée and dessert. Primo seating is 4:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. and $95 per person. Its “Midnight Experience” is 9 p.m.-10:30 p.m., with live entertainment, complimentary champagne toast at midnight, party favors and more.
Aurora on the Lake
Commerce Township
There are two seating options available, with a 4-course menu option. Primo seating is from 4:30 p.m. - 7 p.m. and $95 per person. The “Midnight Experience” is 9 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. and $150 per person. Along with the 4-course dinner, there’s live entertainment and a DJ, a complimentary champagne toast at midnight, party favors and more. Its “Family Affair” offering starts at 8 p.m. and is $49 for ages 4-12 and $95 for ages 13 and up. There's live DJ music, a magician and face painting. The menu features appetizers, sides and choices of main dishes, including a 4-ounce filet with zip sauce.
Basan
Detroit
Steps from Little Caesars Arena, Basan is on the ground floor of the historic Eddystone. On New Year's Eve, they'll offer a six-course tasting menu featuring savory and sweet options. It's $94 per person. Cocktail and beverage at additional cost. Champagne toast at midnight.
Beverly Hills Grill
Beverly Hills
Transforming into a candlelit celebration with a 5-course menu from starter to dessert. Menu choices include short rib crostini with creamy Boursin cheese, veal scallopini, filet and shrimp with caramelized onion Boursin sauce, and pan-roasted branzino with apple brown butter. Seatings at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. are $100 per person. The 10 p.m. seating is $110 and includes a bottle of Veuve Clicquot.
Blake’s Tasting Room
Armada Township

Blake's Tasting Room in Armada has a strolling buffet menu for New Year's Eve.
Strolling buffet New Year’s Eve dinner with chef-crafted small plate options plus festive and seasonal favorites. There’s also a prime rib, pasta, salad station, plus sides, soup and desserts. Blake’s Orchard House or its premium wines and Blake’s Honey Bubbly are available for purchase.
Buffet is $45.95 per person and served 3-9 p.m.
Blake’s Backyard
Almont Township
New Year’s Eve dinner includes a special menu of seasonal favorites, including an apple chutney cheese bread appetizer, creamy chicken pasta and lemon garlic pasta. Prices vary. Champagne and Blake’s Honey Bubbly is also available for purchase.
Book Tower
Detroit
Inside the historic Book Tower at 1265 Washington Blvd., eateries will have extended hours until midnight.

All of the places will have regular menus plus a few specials. There will be champagne toasts, New Year’s Eve hats, streamers and more. For information and reservations, visit each bar and restaurant's website.
Dixboro House
Superior Township
Chef Garrett Lipar and team offer a 5-course tasting menu. On the menu are seasonal offerings, such as lobster and carrots and agnolotti with rutabaga and wagyu beef. It’s $150 per person.
A tasting menu for children 12 and under is $30.
Gillys Clubhouse
New Year's Eve features two DJ entertainment across three floors. There will also be a midnight champagne toast. Gilly’s is also open on New Year’s Day for the College Football Quarterfinals.

Gilly's on Woodward Avenue is multi-level and will have DJ entertainment for New Year's Eve.
Godfrey Hotel and Hamilton’s
Detroit
In Corktown, New Year’s Eve events begin in the Godfrey’s ballroom with Gatsby’s Grand Affair from 6–9 p.m. The event, $150 per person, is 1920s-themed and features a cocktail hour with hors d’oeuvres, followed by a 3-course plated dinner. Throughout the evening, there will be aerialists, showgirl dancers, fire performers, dancing and champagne throughout the night.
Dinner only is served at Hamilton’s, with a special five-course prix fixe menu, plus its regular menu.
Up top at the I|O Godfrey, with stunning views of the city is a massive balloon drop and complimentary champagne toast, plus appetizers, strolling caviar service and live entertainment. Tickets are $100 to $150 per person.
Grey Ghost

Grey Ghost in Midtown offers a multiple course menu for New Year's Eve.
Detroit
A Midtown mainstay, Grey Ghost offers a 5-course prix fixe dinner. Seatings in the main dining room or veranda are at 10:15 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. You can reserve seating in the main dining room or veranda. It’s $130 per person plus tax and includes a champagne toast at midnight. Bar seating is $130 per person for five courses and start at 4 p.m.

Latitudes Restaurant and Bar
Wyandotte
On the water in the downriver community of Wyandotte, Latitudes has beautiful views of the Detroit River and downtown Detroit. Its New Year’s Eve event features live performances and a DJ all night in the restaurant's banquet room. There’s a dinner buffet that includes carving stations, raw bar, sushi, pasta, plus an open top-shelf bar, late-night snacks, champagne toast, party favors and more. It’s $90 per person with the buffet served from 7:30 p.m.-9 p.m.
You can also reserve dinner seating in its atrium. There will be entertainment by Renee Key Duo. Reservation through toasttab.com
Leña
Detroit

At the heart of Leña, a new eatery in Brush Park, is its open kitchen and wood-fired hearth.
This wood-fired, Spanish restaurant in Brush Park, is offering a prix-fixe, 5-course New Year’s Eve menu for $85 per person, highlighting their favorite dishes. There’s also an optional wine pairing. Menu highlights are empanda, hamachi, choice of grilled swordfish and chicken and dessert.
Marrow
Detroit
In Detroit’s West Village neighborhood, the New Year’s steakhouse tasting menu is available. It’s $90 per person with choices of starters such as roasted West Coast oysters, plus salad, pasta, choice of entree and dessert.

Eastern Market
This newly opened restaurant and butcher shop at Eastern Market prix fixe, 4-course New Year’s Eve menu is $130 per person. There are choices of starters, three main entrees to choose from, plus dessert. It’s served with family-style side dishes of scalloped potato, roasted Brussels sprouts and squash.
NARA Sushi & Hibachi Steakhouse
West Bloomfield

NARA Sushi & Hibachi Steakhouse has a special menu for new Year's Eve.
Its hibachi feature is filet and lobster. There’s DJ entertainment starting at 9 p.m., plus champagne toast, party favors and ball drop. Last reservation is at 10 p.m.
Prime29 Steakhouse

West Bloomfield
First seating is 5-7 p.m., with a 4-course menu that includes several choices. It’s $95 per person. Second seating is 9-11 p.m., also with a 4-course menu of several selections, plus live music and complimentary champagne toast at midnight. It’s $150 per person.
Rudy’s Prime Steakhouse

Rudy's Prime Steakhouse offers its regular menu on New Year's Eve with a special Champagne feature.
Clarkston
Known for a selection of prime steaks, Rudy’s will have seatings from 4:30 p.m. -11 p.m. (Last reservation is 10 p.m.) A special evening offering is Billecarte-Salmon champagne.
Saksey’s

Bugles, a crunchy corn chip snack, will be served with caviar at Saksey's when it opens Nov. 14.
Detroit
This recently downtown lounge inspired by Dan Gilbert’s opened in November. You can reserve tables and nosh on a la carte bites and specialty cocktails. The hours are 5 p.m.-1 a.m.

San Morello
Detroit
Serving an à la carte dinner menu that includes specialties such as lobster Fra Diavolo, Dover sole and Monte Bianco Budino for dessert. There's a champagne toast at midnight.
Sexy Steak
Detroit

Sexy Steak in downtown Detroit will offer a special menu for New Year's Eve.
Offering regular reservations with an exclusive a la carte menu that includes a selection of appetizers, steaks, pasta and seafood. There will be special performances and live DJ entertainment, plus party favors and a complimentary champagne toast at midnight.
Shelby
Detroit
This speakeasy in an old bank vault on Shelby in downtown Detroit and offers an array of signature cocktails designed with specific and nostalgic garnishes. For New Year’s Eve, they kick off from 5 p.m.-8:30 p.m. with their seasonal cocktail menu and standard reservations through OpenTable. A Bacardi-sponsored New Year’s party beings at 10 p.m. It’s $25 ticket and includes a special amuse bouche, midnight champagne toast, and a special NYE cocktail menu.
The Brakeman
Detroit
Annual New Year’s Eve bash features drinks, music and late-night bites from Penny Reds and complimentary glass of champagne. Admission is $10 and the New Year’s Eve party hours are 10 p.m.-2 a.m.
Vinology
Ann Arbor
Candlelight masquerade blind wine tasting is 6-8 p.m. on New Year’s Eve. Vinology’s Bubble Room will be lit by candlelight, where guests will enjoy hors d'oeuvres and blind-taste test a dozen wines from around the world. Wine labels will be covered, and guests will drink from black wine glasses in an effort to guess wine varietals and country of origin. At the end of the tasting, prizes will be offered for the most correct wine guesses and the best mask. Tickets are $75 per person VinologyA2.com.
Also at Vinology is a three-course dinner featuring seasonal dishes. There’s a choice of appetizers like beef tartare or scallops Provencal, followed by entree choices of duck ravioli and seared halibut. Dessert choices include Luxardo Cherry Croissant Bread Pudding or stone fruit cobbler. $85 per person with an optional $40 wine pairing. Reserve at VinologyA2.com.
