Retro skiwear is definitely making a comeback, and so graphic knits with large text or designs of mountains have proliferated in recent years. “I don’t see retro-inspired ski gear as a trend, but as something truly timeless,” Olympia Gayot, Creative Director of Women’s and Children’s Design at J.Crew, told T&C as the brand launched a collection with U.S. Ski & Snowboard. “It has such a strong point of view that it can feel like a trend, but when you wear it, you’re very clearly saying something.”
