I’m not the biggest fan of shopping, but Costco has always been the one stop I’ll never turn down. The warehouse has everything you can think of, from the best frozen items, like the Pasta Prima Spinach & Mozzarella Ravioli, to an amazing bakery section with decadent desserts, like the new Kirkland Signature Chocolate Chip Cookie Bar Cake.

But what I love most about Costco is that it has so many quality kitchen staples at great prices. I have a list of go-to items I grab during each trip, and that seems to be a universal trend. Recently, on the subreddit thread r/Costco, Redditors shared the items that they never leave the store without—and now I’m itching for a shopping spree at the warehouse.

Chobani Greek Yogurt

Multiple Redditors shared that yogurt was one of the items they always add to their carts, too, with shoppers recommending Chobani’s Greek yogurt, Kirkland Signature Organic Greek Yogurt, and Skotidakis Greek Yogurt. "It’s the best Greek yogurt we’ve tasted in the U.S.," one Redditor wrote. Another added, "Skotidakis is far superior." 

Waterloo Sparkling Water

Sparkling water is a great way to stay hydrated in a more flavorful way. While there’s a great selection to choose from, Waterloo is a fan favorite among Costco shopper on Reddit. "Waterloo is the best tasting and normally on sale," one Redditor commented. As for what makes it the best, another Redditor said, "Flavors aren’t too strong or too weak. Good price. Not overly sweet, which works for me."

One shopper said that Polar's sparkling water is worth the purchase, too. "Such a great value, and honestly, their grapefruit sparkling water is my favorite flavor of all sparkling waters we buy." Someone else chimed in, adding, "Best flavored sparkling water, don’t @ me."

Kirkland Signature Coastal Aged Cheddar Cheese

"I am obsessed with the Kirkland Coastal Cheddar Cheese and have replaced all other cheeses in my life," declared one Redditor. Someone else chimed in, saying, "I love this stuff. Fantastic with some Honeycrisp apples."

Each block of Kirkland Signature Coastal Aged Cheddar Cheese is aged for up to 15 months. This gives the cheese’s flavor time to intensify. It also has a texture that’s a bit unique when compared to similar products. You may notice a bit of a crunch in each bite, which is from calcium lactate crystals that naturally develop as the cheese ages. 

Kirkland Signature Organic Chicken Sipping Bone Broth 

Bone broth is such a great beverage to have on hand when you’re looking to support your gut health, increase your electrolyte intake, and even improve joint health. And Kirkland Signature Organic Chicken Sipping Bone Broth is one that shoppers stock up on for those reasons—plus because of how tasty it is. 

"This is the best," one Redditor wrote. "Discovered it completely by accident when I needed to drink clear liquids. It’s so good I could drink it straight." Cashews are great to have on hand for snacking, incorporating into dishes, or making your own trail mix. And Costco is an ideal place to buy them because the warehouse sells cashews in 40-ounce bags. Kirkland Signature Organic Unsalted Cashews are a fan-favorite buy for value—plus, they are pretty tasty.

Binggrae Samanco Frozen Dairy Desserts

The freezer aisles at Costco may be the most exciting because of the many delicious dessert options to choose from, including the new Binggrae Samanco Frozen Dairy Desserts. The fish-shaped ice cream sandwiches come in Strawberry, Red Bean Jam, and Chocolate—and they have quickly won over shoppers. 

"These are so good," one Redditor wrote. Another said, "If I saw this, I'd get it every time." Someone else added, "They were great. Light and fresh, feels like they would be excellent as summertime snacks."
