The best-dressed celebrities at the 2026 Actor Awards
The Actor Awards, formerly the SAG or Screen Actors Guild Awards, have kicked off in Los Angeles. Timed well into awards season, tonight serves as an important precursor to the Oscars, which will air just two weeks from today. And stars on the red carpet have matched the heightened energy with their ensembles.
Many of the women this evening leaned into very feminine silhouettes. Teyana Taylor, a red-carpet favorite of the season, commanded attention in a custom Thom Browne dress that clung to her body. The ensemble began with a painterly interpretation of the female form at the bodice and then shifted into an allover sequined skirt. Gwyneth Paltrow wore a black lace Givenchy dress with a plunging neckline and full skirt. Emma Stone felt very ’90s in custom Louis Vuitton, with a glittering lilac slip dress and coordinating cardigan.
The drama continued in a more Old-Hollywood sort of way, with Love Story’s Sarah Pidgeon in a strapless pale-pink gown from Balenciaga. It was cinched at the thigh and inspired by Cristóbal Balenciaga’s famous sack silhouette. Jessie Buckley also wore Balenciaga—hers a simple black column silhouette with a cream silk cape adhered to its bodice and draped around her shoulders.
