Just a couple of months ago, the grocery chain ushered in Valentine's Day with heart-shaped pasta, then paid homage to Mardi Gras with King Cake Kringle.

Now, Trader Joe's is kicking off the month with a lineup of new products, including simple snacks for outdoor activities and crowd-pleasing treats for Easter celebrations, that are as bright and sunny as the months ahead. Here are seven new Trader Joe's products under $7 that we can't wait to try this April, from frozen entrees and desserts to sweet spreads and savory snacks.

The Garlic Butter Nut Mix is packed with almonds, pecans, and cashews coated in a garlic butter seasoning blend. It even has bread chips for added crunch. And if TJ's fan-favorite Garlic Butter Irish Potato Chips are any indication, the allium-packed snack will be oh-so good.

Whipped Carrot Cake Cream Cheese Spread, $2.79

Inspired by the signature seasonal dessert, Trader Joe's newest spread captures the essence of carrot cake (and its classic cream cheese frosting) with a blend of dried carrots, carrot powder, brown sugar, and warm spices. The Whipped Carrot Cake Cream Cheese Spread is on the sweeter side for a spread—but not overly sweet like frosting—making it a perfect addition for bagels, pancakes, or muffins. Personally, I've been frothing a tablespoon of it into milk to make the most decadent carrot cake latte at home—no pricey coffee shop visits needed.

Cookie Dough Ice Cream Bites, $4.79 

My two favorite desserts of all time are ice cream and raw cookie dough, and Trader Joe's combined the two to create a treat that is simply out of this world. Each of TJ's new Cookie Dough Ice Cream Bites features creamy vanilla ice cream encased in a layer of edible chocolate chip cookie dough, offering an indulgent bite that satisfies every part of your sweet tooth—no baking required. Given how quickly I'd devour these, I'm not sure why Trader Joe's packaged them in a resealable pouch. 

Jambalaya, $5.49

I love jambalaya, but I can never get it quite right. Not only is it a bit labor-intensive, but with its signature blend of French, West African, and Spanish influences, it can be tricky to balance the flavors while also cooking the rice perfectly without soggy vegetables or overcooked sausage.

Luckily, TJ's took the beloved Southern dish and made it even simpler with an aromatic base of savory white rice, combined with chopped onion, tomato, bell pepper, and green onion, and, of course, slices of smoky, slightly spicy Andouille sausage throughout. Plus, it only takes a few minutes of heat—whether you prefer the stovetop or the microwave—for a comforting, ready-to-serve meal.

Salted Caramel Mochi, $4.99

Sometimes, plain ice cream just isn't satisfying, but Trader Joe's offers plenty of popular alternatives, from ice cream sandwiches and mini cones to the new Salted Caramel Mochi. Like Trader Joe's other mochi treats, the Salted Caramel Mochi has a chewy outer layer of sweet rice dough surrounding a bite of buttery-sweet salted caramel ice cream inside—and fans are loving it.

"The ice cream is so good, the mochi is on the thinner side, but these are a winner," reported one shopper on Instagram. Another chimed in, adding, "The salted caramel mochi is my new favorite! Sooo good!"

Cannelés French Style Pastries, $5.49

After nearly 10 years off store shelves, Trader Joe's Cannelés French Style Pastries are finally lining the freezer aisles again, and fans can't wait to get their hands on the find. TJ's twist on the French dessert features a deeply caramelized, slightly chewy shell surrounding a soft, custardy center, striking an ideal balance between crispy edges and tender pastry. The decadent dessert is more vanilla-forward compared to the standard rum-centric recipe—and fans are already stocking up.

Ranch Flavored Rolled Corn Tortilla Chips, $2.99

Trader Joe's is launching a new version of its award-winning Chili & Lime Flavored Rolled Corn Tortilla Chips, and fans are devouring the bag in one go. While the original rolled chips are hot and tangy, the new Trader Joe's Ranch Flavored Rolled Corn Tortilla Chips are creamy and herby, thanks to savory seasonings and spices, including buttermilk, garlic powder, onion powder, and parsley.
