We found 6 replacements for the sadly unavailable Supergoop skin-perfecting CC cream

One of Aguirre's replacement products for the Supergoop CC Screen is the Glow Screen, a well-known sunscreen that blurs imperfections and boosts the look of skin by giving it a dewy radiance. Available in four flexible sheer tints, the Glow Screen is infused with hyaluronic acid, vitamin B5, and niacinamide, which all work together to nourish, hydrate and protect.

In addition to SPF 40 sun protection, this non-mineral formula prevents damage from blue light and though intended as a makeup primer, it can be used on its own for those no-makeup, makeup days. This was once a staple in my daily skin care routine for a couple of years and is my favorite Supergoop product to date. 

Another Reddit recommendation is a formula that I'm very familiar with — so familiar, in fact, that it's my exclusive foundation of choice and a product I've expressed my adoration for in previous coverage. The It Cosmetics CC+ Cream is a multi-tasking and problem-solving cream that manages to imperceptibly conceal my bumpy skin texture, increased dryness and severe redness simultaneously. Beyond the broad-spectrum SPF of 50+, the item is laden with a buffet of well-loved skin care ingredients that I feel enhance its performance and make my skin feel healthier and even slightly nourished.

You can expect to find hero-infusions of niacinamide to brighten and reduce redness; skin-plumping peptides, which help minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by supporting natural collagen production; hyaluronic acid for improved elasticity and hydration; and antioxidants to help mitigate skin damage brought on by environmental stressors. The same Reddit thread also revealed the Erborian CC Crème to be a good replacement for the Supergoop CC Screen. Made to even tone, smooth irregular texture, blur imperfections and hydrate the skin, this cream uses unique encapsulated pigments that provide a brighter finish that looks closer to actual skin than it does a layer of makeup.

The formula, which is available in three flexible shades, also features centella asiatica extract, an ingredient used in many Korean products for its ability to soothe irritation and calm redness. It has a strong fan base within our own ranks: After one HuffPoster anointed this CC cream as a 'miracle product' in a shopping Slack channel, no less than four others chimed in with endorsements, calling it 'magical,' and 'SO GOOD.'"

"[This] is protective tint with hyaluronic acid and niacinamide for a fresh, dewy glow that provides coverage," Aguirre said of this cult-favorite tinted serum by Ilia that's more like applying skin care than it is like applying makeup. I myself have tried this ultra-hydrating formula that's perfect for anytime I just want that perfect touch of coverage and even skin tone.

The Ilia Super Serum offers mineral SPF 40 and another really great hydrator,  squalane. There is a learning curve with using this, however. It's truly meant to give you a very dewy, your-skin-but-better kind of finish, so I avoid putting on any thick face creams underneath this. Instead, I just really work it into my skin until it absorbs almost like a face lotion, then apply a tiny dusting of powder on areas where I don't want the shine. You can find it in 30 shades.

Aguirre called the Tatcha Silk Sunscreen a silky and weightless formula that smoothes and primes the skin. " [It's] great for mature skin as well," she said. This is a mineral sunscreen for anyone who doesn't want a tinted formula and who deals with chronically dry skin, thanks to the inclusion of hyaluronic acid. It also contains niacinamide, a well-studied antioxidant that brightens skin tone, and a silk extract rich in amino acids to visibly smooth skin texture. 

As we mentioned earlier, several Supergoop CC Screen lovers took to Reddit to express their frustration with the discontinuation and even shared a few convincing replacements themselves. One of these is the Australian Gold Botanical Tinted Face, a daily mineral lotion with SPF 50 sun protection, a lightweight feel and a natural-mattifying finish. The tinted formula is infused with soothing ingredients like red algae and eucalyptus, along with a blend of antioxidant-rich plants that nourish and protect skin from environmental stressors.
