Selena Gomez steps out in diamond feather earrings to support Martin Short
Last night, stars turned out to support Martin Short at the premiere of his documentary Marty, Life Is Short, including the actor and comedian’s Only Murders in the Building costar Selena Gomez.

For the premiere, Gomez wore a black embroidered short sleeve square neck midi dress from Carolina Herrera by Wes Gordon’s Spring 2026 collection and Christian Louboutin pumps. But the standout part of her outfit was her feather earrings from Stephen Silver Fine Jewelry.
The earrings, which retail for $12,500, are described by the brand as “whimsical earrings.” Crafted in platinum and 14 karat white gold, they feature 3.50 total carats of single cut diamonds.

It was the first red carpet appearance for Gomez since the Golden Globes in January. Last night also marked a significant moment for her co-star Short, as it was his first public appearance following the death of his daughter, Katherine, in February. He was supported by his sons Oliver and Henry, and longtime friends including Eugene Levy, Billy Crystal, Andrea Martin, Kate Hudson, and other celebrities.

Marty, Life is Short, directed by Lawrence Kasdan, will premiere on Netflix on May 12. Only Murders in the Building, starring Gomez, Short, and Steve Martin, will return for its sixth season likely later this year, but no date has been announced yet. Season 6 will see the trio overseas in London, following the death of podcaster Cinda Canning (Tina Fey) in the season five finale. “I really hope that I can just keep evolving Mabel as I get older,” Gomez said this past fall, “because I want to do this for a long time."
