Taylor Swift Debuts Her $1 Million Engagement Ring in First Post-Engagement Outing With Travis Kelce

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have stepped out for their first public appearance since announcing their engagement earlier this week. The pair were attending a college game at Arrowhead Stadium on August 28, watching Kelce's old college team, the Cincinnati Bearcats take on the Nebraska Cornhuskers. The pop star wore a collegiate-inspired ensemble and debuted her new engagement ring for the appearance, while Kelce wore the Bearcats team colors.
Swift rocked a pleated baby blue denim miniskirt by Balenciaga paired with a white cable knit v-neck vest by Ralph Lauren and nude knee-high boots by Louis Vuitton. She carried the Celine Mini 16 bag in baby blue. She wore her signature bangs and wore her hair in long soft waves.
Meanwhile, Kelce wore a red and white striped polo Nike shirt along with a Bearcats cap.
The couple were pictured sitting together watching the game. At one point, Kelce leapt to his feet to cheer for his old team as Swift smiled at him.
Swift kept her accessories to a minimum to show off her brand new engagement ring.
“It appears to be an 8–10 carat elongated antique cushion cut with a signature open culet. That elongated ratio is rare for antique diamonds, which are typically more on the chunky side," Kegan Fisher, co-founder of fine jewelry brand, Frank Darling, previously told us of the ring. "The ring features a collet-style setting, something we’re seeing trend upward, paired with a flat, tapered band accented with diamond detailing.”
Kelce and Swift announced their engagement with a joint Instagram post on August 26. In the post, Swift and Kelce posed together under a display of over 2,000 symbolic flowers wearing coordinated Ralph Lauren looks. Swift also wore almost $41,000 of jewelry alongside her engagement ring. "Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨," read the caption.
The couple, who have been linked since 2023, recently made their first joint podcast appearance on Kelce's New Heights podcast where Swift announced her upcoming twelfth album, The Life of a Showgirl.
