Since buying her Watch Hill mansion back in 2013, the singer has been a frequent visitor of the Ocean State, hosting parties for her friends, shopping around town and trying the local cuisine. While Swift's public outings in Rhode Island have been less frequent in recent years, like any homeowner, she certainly has a list of favorite spots she likes to visit around her house.
Here's a list of restaurants and stores Taylor Swift has visited in and around Westerly over the years.
Olympia Tea Room

Visitors to Watch Hill sit outside at the Olympia Tea Room on Bay Street to eat and take in the views.
In June 2016, the singer enjoyed a romantic first date with actor Tom Hiddleston at the restaurant. According to Us Weekly, the pair stayed for over two hours, enjoying white wine, espresso and the restaurant's famous Avondale Swan dessert, a swan-shaped puff pastry with vanilla gelato, espresso fudge and whipped cream feathers.

Ella's Food and Drink

In August 2014, Taylor Swift and Lorde took a private cooking class from chef Jeanie Roland at Ella's Fine Food and Drink, a French-Asian fine dining restaurant near her house. According to People Magazine, the pair learned to make tuna tartare tacos, with co-owner James Roland saying "they couldn't have been nicer."

PizzaPlace
Back in April of this year, Swift's longtime bestie Ed Sheeran posted a throwback picture of Swift in a pizza place to @teddysoldphone on Instagram, an account created to promote his new song "Old Phone."
"Getting pizza somewhere on tour," Sheeran captioned the photo, which also shows Hailee Steinfeld sipping a drink.
Internet sleuths soon figured out that the "somewhere" in question was actually PizzaPlace on Broad Street. The singers likely stopped at the local pizza joint during in July 2023, when Swift and her then-opener Sheeran visited Rhode Island after playing Gillette Stadium on the Red tour.

Cooked Goose

The Cooked Goose has been a crowd favorite of locals and tourists for years.
In 2016, The Providence Journal reported that Swift was known to get breakfast at Cooked Goose while in town, joined by freinds like Lena Dunham or Selena Gomez.

S & P Oyster Restaurant

S&P Oyster Restaurant and Bar is open Monday-Thursday from 11:30 a.m.-9:00 p.m., Saturday until 10:00 p.m., and Sunday from 11:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m.
While celebrating Independence Day in Rhode Island during the Red tour, Swift treated 30 backup dancers to dinner at S&P Oyster Restaurant over the boarder in Mystic, Connecticut, as reported by the New York Daily News.

St. Clair Annex

St. Clair Annex is a favorite stop of Swift's for both breakfast and ice cream, according to previous reporting from the Providence Journal.

Mel's Downtown Creamery
Though technically over the border in Connecticut, Mel's Downtown Creamery is another spot where Swift has been seen enjoying ice cream, bringing along her backup dancers or a variety of popstar friends.
In June 2013, Swift stopped in the creamery with Selena Gomez after a day of shopping in downtown Mystic, according to a blog on the Mystic town website. At the time, Swift posted a video of herself and Gomez with waffle cones to Vine.
Later that summer, Swift ordered a cone with Oreo ice cream during a visit to the shop with Ed Sheeran and his brother, The Washington Post reported.
It was during this visit that Ed Sheeran attempted the creamery's Big Kahuna challenge, a sundae with eight scoops of ice cream, brownie, banana, whipped cream and cherries. Sheeran later shared on an episode of the "Off Menu" podcast that he finished the challenge as Swift played "Eye of the Tiger" to cheer him on, though he got sick afterwards.

Kiah Dremel, of Mystic, Connecticut, shops on Bay Street, Watch Hill, Sept. 15, 2025, hopes Taylor Swift decides to get married in Westerly. "I think that would be super cool, ... I think she's such a great celebrity. She's an inspirational woman."
According to the Providence Journal, Swift has been spotted shopping along Bay Street various times, especially in the summer of 2015. The owner of A Summer Place owner shared that she bought clothes and items for her house at the time.
