Jonathan Anderson’s Dior Takes Shape As Mia Goth Joins Greta Lee And Mikey Madison Ambassador

Two short weeks before Jonathan Anderson unveils his debut womenswear collection at Dior, he has named his third ambassador, with Mia Goth. She joins Mikey Madison and Greta Lee, who were recently announced.

Fresh from her Oscar win for Anora, Mikey Madison was announced as the first global Dior ambassador since Anderson stepped in as the creative director. The news was met with praise by the industry, and with Lee and Goth also signing on as ambassadors, many note that this announcement sets the tone for an exciting new chapter at the Maison.

The announcements, which have come in quick succession over the past few weeks, are building excitement ahead of Paris Fashion Week, where Anderson’s womenswear collection will be unveiled on October 1. The trio of ambassadors join the ranks of existing Dior ambassadors, Jenna Ortega, Jisoo, and Anya Taylor-Joy.

U[pon Madison’s announcement, Anderson expressed excitement over their collaboration. “Mikey Madison is an incredibly talented actress. Her empathetic approach perfectly reflects the house of Dior and I am extremely excited to work together,” Anderson said in a statement shared exclusively with WWD.

Madison is no stranger to Dior. While accepting the Oscar for her role in Anora — in which she plays Ani, a sex worker from Brooklyn who married the son of a Russian oligarch — she wore a pink and black column gown by Dior. While the classic gown fit with the Hollywood glamour dress code for the event, it also had playful touches, like a delicate bow and exaggerated train. Though this gown wasn’t designed by Anderson, it’s this playfulness that Madison said always draws her back to the house.

“Jonathan is inspiring to me as a designer because of how he tells stories with his collections and the playfulness and originality he injects into every collection,” Madison said in a statement. “I’m so proud and honoured to be joining the house of Dior as a global ambassador at the start of this next chapter under Jonathan’s creative direction.”

On September 11, actor Greta Lee was also confirmed as an ambassador following her appearance at the Venice International Film Festival, where she wore a spate of custom Dior looks on the red carpet. One such look was at the premiere for ‘A House Of Dynamite’, where Lee pranced along the red carpet in a black satin and green organza micro dress with tuxedo lapels and a voluminous bow at the front.

As we noted at the time, if this is a sign of things to come from Anderson’s Dior, you won’t hear any complaints from us. Lee’s appointment as one of Anderson’s ambassadors at Dior isn’t a huge surprise, as she has previously worn custom Loewe designs, courtesy of Anderson who previously helmed the label.

“Greta possesses a natural instinct for dressing,” Anderson told WWD at the time of the announcement. “She is everything that I imagine the Dior woman to be: talented, exciting, empathetic and she’s great fun to be around.”

Now, just one week on from the announcement, Dior has confirmed actor Mia Goth as Anderson’s third appointment as the front row starts to take form. Working with Goth, who is currently on the press tour for her upcoming project, Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein (which she stars in opposite Jacob Elordi), is a dream come true for Anderson.

“Having long been a fan of Mia and her work, collaborating with her is a dream come true for me,” says Anderson. “Her presence and empathetic personality are compelling both on and off screen, making her a perfect Dior woman of today.” For Goth, who like Lee, stepped out on the VIFF red carpet in a draped Dior chocolate brown gown earlier this month, the feeling is mutual. “[Anderson’s] unique vision combined with the timeless elegance of Dior resonates with me personally,” she said. “I am honoured to represent a brand and a designer whom I have genuinely admired for a long time.”

Anderson was appointed creative director in April 2025, and is the first designer since Christian Dior himself to lead both men’s and women’s collections, including haute couture, ushering in a new era of unified vision at the storied Maison. He presented his debut menswear collection at Paris’s Hôtel des Invalides Madison in June, and we can’t wait to see his womenswear collection in a few short weeks.
