Family-owned wine shop holds holiday event in Grand Rapids

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — On Nov. 8, registered attendees of a holiday wine expo in downtown Grand Rapids will sample over 75 unique wines from around the world provided by Grand Vin, a family-owned wine shop.

“It’s an awesome opportunity to try a bunch of different wines,” Kim Grimm, co-owner of Grand Vin, said.

Beginning at 5:30 p.m., guests to Grand Vin’s third annual Holiday Wine Expo can enjoy bottomless wine samples and light catering from the Bistro Bella Vita kitchen in its private event space.

“Their chef team is curating small bites and appetizers for the guests that attend,” Grimm said.

At its holiday wine expo, Grand Vin will also provide order forms for interested customers looking to fill their supply of wine ahead of the holiday season, including in-person pickups before Thanksgiving Day.

“Holidays are a huge portion of our annual sales,” Grimm said.

As an independent, family-owned business, Grand Vin prioritizes the customer experience at each of their tasting events, including monthly small-group tastings at their storefront.

“We love to introduce people to new varieties and new experiences,” Grimm said.
