Grand Rapids brewery to host free, drop-in arts and crafts night

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — On March 28, visitors to Harmony Brewing Company can attend a free drop-in arts and crafts night hosted by Hot Glue Creux, a local arts group.

“We’ve recently put a focus on our late night (events),” said Heather Van Dyke-Titus, co-owner of Harmony Brewing Company. “We’re trying to offer something that maybe doesn’t exist.”

Beginning at 9 p.m., attendees will be guided through hands-on activities and crafts from a community art bar provided by Hot Glue Creux. Other Saturday night events at Harmony Brewing Company have included adult coloring books nights and keychain-making activities.

“We have DJs, people can play board games,” Van Dyke-Titus said. “It’s a late night hang-out, but maybe a little more chill.”

Each of Hot Glue Creux’s events at Harmony Brewing Company, which take place on the last Saturday of every month, are free to attend and continue until 11 p.m.

“It’ll always be free,” Van Dyke-Titus said. “We’re inviting the community to come out.”
