I’ll be honest, I’m not even a big football fan. That being said, I am a huge fan of party dips and appetizers, and I'll take any excuse I can get to make them. After bringing a few of these recipes to Super Bowl parties over the years, my house is now the designated game day destination. Seriously—it’s not even an option at this point. A party that features a few of these recipes scores big for a few reasons. I’ve got creative presentations on classic game day favorites here (you won’t believe all the ways you can transform Buffalo chicken and 7-layer dip), as well as tried-and-true Super Bowl staples that no party is complete without (I’m looking at you, Hawaiian roll sliders and our best-ever chili). Whether you’re hosting this year or need some guaranteed winners to bring to the potluck, these recipes end up on my must-make list year after year for a reason.
Jalapeño Popper Dip
When it comes to Super Bowl dips, my allegiance lies with anything that is super-cheesy, creamy and smoky. This jalapeño popper-inspired dip nails all three! It gets a kick from the jalapeño, but not so much that you'll be running for a glass of milk.

French Onion Smashed Potatoes
Love French onion soup but looking for something that’s a little more casual? These French onion smashed potatoes are calling your name. Crispy smashed baby Yukons are topped with caramelized onions and gooey Gruyère for a snackable bite-sized spin on the beloved classic soup.

Fried Buffalo Artichoke Hearts
I bet you've heard of Buffalo wings made from cauliflower or tempeh, but what about artichokes? These bites are my favorite way to give Buffalo flavors a vegetarian twist.

Buffalo Blitz Bites
Buffalo chicken dip is a tailgating icon. It’s the perfect combination of a spicy, meaty Buffalo wings and creamy, cheesy party dip, making it the most crowd-pleasing appetizer you can serve…until the invention of Buffalo Blitz Bites.

Hawaiian Roll Sliders
Sliders are always a guaranteed hit on game day, but these ones are the crème de la crème. In them, ham, Swiss, and jammy caramelized onions are layered between the star of the show: buttery and soft Hawaiian rolls.

Football Field Dip
Hut, hut, DIP! Dipping into this edible football field will reveal layers of all of your favorite (store-bought!) dips, spreads, and sauces packed into one adorable dish.

Potato Skin Bites
We took the classic app down a size by turning coin-sized potato slices into crispy bites ready to be topped with all your favorite loaded toppings. Whether you’re looking for an easier version of the loaded app or need to serve a big crowd this Super Bowl, these bites are the answer.

Classic Chili
Hearty, filling, and versatile, chili is a staple comfort food for very good reason. I love game day apps, but chili is the throw-together main dish that I can rely on every single Super Bowl.

Blooming Quesadilla Ring
Buffalo chicken is one of my fave flavor combos ever, and this creamy, spicy technique is one of my favorite ways to serve it. It's the best, most impressive way to make quesadillas for a crowd this Super Bowl Sunday.

Taco Dip
This easy taco-inspired dip is SO delicious and SO simple to throw together, making it perfect for improvisation by switching up the seasonings and layers. If you really want to take it to another level, make our homemade taco seasoning and swap it out for the store-bought stuff.

Ranch Wings
If the best (undebatable) wing flavor and sauce combination is hot Buffalo wings and ranch dip, then it stands to reason that a ranch wing with hot Buffalo dip would be equally delicious. This recipe proves that with every single bite.

Sloppy Joe Cups
Store-bought crescent dough is stuffed with our sloppy Joe recipe before being covered in gooey cheese—what more could you want? They only take a little over half an hour to come together, meaning they're the perfect comfort food for sharing at your game day celebration.

Crockpot Buffalo Chicken Dip
Is it even really a Super Bowl party without Buffalo chicken dip? I think not. If you're looking for the most hands-off version of this classic recipe, turn to your trusty slow cooker.

Pimento Cheese-Stuffed Mini Peppers
Stuffed mini peppers (especially cheesy ones) are such an easy appetizer to throw together and are always a crowd-pleaser. These are a really good vegetarian alternative to a jalapeño popper, so everyone can enjoy them at your game day or party spread.

Tailgate Tots
If you’re looking for the cutest (and easiest) Super Bowl snack, look no further than these tailgate tots. See—they even sound cute! Tailgate food can be tricky—you want it to be fun, creative, and most importantly: easy to eat while watching the game. These tots do all of the above, and more.

Spinach Dip Rolls
Turn your favorite party dip into a personal serving with these cheesy, flaky, savory spinach dip rolls. To create this easy app, chopped spinach, marinated artichokes, and three types of cheese—Parmesan, cheddar, and Gruyère—are rolled into flaky puff pastry, topped with everything bagel seasoning, and baked until golden brown.

French Dip Stuffed Biscuits
Who knew simple, store-bought ingredients like a can of biscuits, deli sliced roast beef, and a packet of au jus gravy mix could be transformed into something so delicious? Well, we did, which is why we’re strongly suggesting making this app when you need something hearty and comforting with a fun twist.

Nashville Hot Chicken Fries
Nashville hot chicken meets waffle fries (these are the best) meets nachos for this ultimate sheet-pan party food mash-up. It’s crispy and cheesy with a spiciness that flushes your cheeks, prickles your throat, and is impossible to stop eating.

Pigs In A Blanket
There's something very classic about the crescent roll dough flavor, so we tend to gravitate toward it, but puff pastry or even biscuit dough both should work here too.

Lemon-Pepper Wings
Lemon-pepper chicken is one of our most popular recipes ever, and it's easy to understand why. Even with only a few ingredients, it has SO. MUCH. FLAVOR. The same can be said for these wings. Prep time is 10 minutes... or less!
