The Princess of Wales
Kate removed her shoes as a sign of respect while taking part in a traditional dance at a Hindu temple. As is traditional, she appeared to be wearing a pair of nude pantyhose.
Prince William
The Prince of Wales kicked off his shoes as he impressed crowds with his volleyball skills at Copacabana Beach in Brazil in November.
Duchess Sophie
The Duchess of Edinburgh removed her shoes during a visit to the Sri Guru Singh Sabha Southall Gurdwara in Southall in 2018. She also went barefoot during her Japan visit last year to maintain sanctity in a Buddhist temple.
