Emergency vehicles are parked near an Air Canada Express jet that had collided with a fire truck at LaGuardia Airport in Queens, New York, U.S. March 23, 2026.
The firetruck was responding to a United Airlines aircraft, where an odor was reported, according to Garcia. The aircraft had declared an emergency due to the odor onboard.
