Kate Middleton styles Jenni Kayne and more for day two in Italy
The Princess of Wales turned to a variety of designers for her streamlined look, which began with her pleated Jenni Kayne skirt. The California-based brand's skirt was crafted in an ivory fabric and featured a high-waisted, flowing silhouette with a bevy of pleats.
Atop her knit ivory shirt, Middleton wore a Blazé Milano pin-stripe blazer, featuring tones of ivory and beige with accents of brown on the buttons to complement the neutral skirt. The British royal family members' belt was also designed by Blazé Milano.
Middleton also added the colorful toe cap trend to her attire with the Alicia flats in taupe and black courtesy of designer Camilla Elphick. When it came to accessories, Middleton favored Kiki McDonough earrings and necklace with a hint of green amethyst.
She also added a sentimental touch to her attire, with a bracelet from Atelier Molayem in collaboration with Relais Roncolo 1888. The 9-karat yellow gold cube initials bracelet, from the label's "ABC" collection, featured the initials of Middleton and Prince William's three children - 12-year-old Prince George, 11-year-old Princess Charlotte and 8-year-old Prince Louis.
Middleton's made such personal touches, like yesterday's bracelet, a cornerstone of her royal wardrobe. She often wears a gold necklace by Daniella Draper with charms representing her children's initials. Honoring her three children is a similar route Middleton has taken in the past with jewelry-centric homages to the late Princess Diana and Queen Elizabeth II.
The Princess of Wales' second day attire for her Reggio Emilia visit was a slight departure from her Day One look. On Wednesday, Middleton exuded springtime hues in a coordinated cornflower blue suit by Edeline Lee.
The Princess of Wales' visit to the city in Northern Italy marks her first trip overseas since the completion of her cancer treatment. The trip coincides with the next step for The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood as the organization expands internationally. During her visit, Middleton explored leading approaches to early child development, focusing on creativity, relationships and hands-on discovery.
