Tourism employers and more seeking to hire at job fair in West Palm Beach, Riviera Beach
Discover The Palm Beaches, the county's tourism marketing arm, is holding a three-day job far in October to help connect job seekers with hotels and other hospitality-related businesses.
The fair will be held on Oct. 14, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the South Florida Fairgrounds near West Palm Beach; Oct. 15 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Palm Beach Convention Center in West Palm Beach; and Oct. 16 from 9 a.m. to 1 pm. at the Riviera Beach Marina Event Center in Riviera Beach.

The newly renovated Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Beach Resort & Spa.
The free, public event connects up to 40 employers with prospective employees for a range of positions, from seasonal part-time work to full-time jobs with benefits.
Hotels include AKA Hotels, the Amrit Ocean Resort, Driftwood Hospitality Management, several Marriott-brand hotels and the Wyndham Grand Jupiter, to name a few.
Also in attendance will be Florida Atlantic University, Palm Beach County Library System, the Palm Beach Sheriff's Office and Palm Beach State College.
A newly-created foundation by Related Ross, West Palm Beach's dominant real estate developer, is co-sponsoring the event.
Related Ross owns the Hilton West Palm Beach hotel next to the convention center. It also owns CityPlace, where the Italian market Eataly and Equinox fitness center are opening this year.
Representatives from Hilton, Eataly and Equinox also will be at the job fair.
This is the fourth year for the job fair event, which was created in 2021 to help tourism-related companies regroup after the pandemic.
But this is the first time the job fair will stretch over three days, said Heather Andrews, vice president of destination stewardship and civic engagement for Discover The Palm Beaches.
Andrews said the county is so large, and the demand for workers in new and existing companies is so great, that the three-day event, spread across three separate locations, "provides us the opportunity to work with our local businesses and connect them with local talent."
Palm Beach County welcomes 5.72 million visitors during the first half of 2025, a 10% increase from the same period in 2024.
Applicants are encouraged to dress professionally, bring their resumes and preregister at www.thepalmbeaches.com/jobfair. For more information about the event, including details on employer participation, please visit the website.
