LEADING A VASTLY DIFFERENT LIFE

Now based in the sought-after suburb of Montecito, California, the Duke and Duchess lead a vastly different life from the one they had in London, with Meghan not having returned to the UK since the death of Queen Elizabeth II three years ago. Pic: Samir Hussein/WireImage
DOES MEGHAN LONG FOR UK LFIE?

However, there are many points during Meghan’s new series where the mum-of-two hints at a longing for life in the UK, admitting that there are certain aspects of British life and culture that she misses, despite the pair's popularity across the Atlantic Ocean. Pic: Jake Rosenberg/Netflix
PRESSING PAUSE ON THE IDEA

Meghan, who was born and bred in the United States, had previously planned to apply for British citizenship, but later put the idea on pause after she and Harry decided to move to California, stepping down as working royals in the UK. Pic: Meghan / Instagram
STRONG ENGLISH UNDERTONES

Meghan only spent a short amount of time living in the UK between 2017 and 2020, raising the pair’s first child, Prince Archie, for the first few months of his life at Frogmore Cottage. However, five years on, fans of the show With Love, Meghan, have been struck by strong English undertones – as well as a claim about UK radio, that nobody was expecting! Pic: Netflix
MAGIC FM WINS MEGHAN'S HEART

In the latest episode of the show, which premiered on Tuesday, the 44-year-old spoke candidly to Doncaster-born Tan France about what she misses most from her time living in the UK. ‘One of the things I miss most about the UK is the radio stations,’ she said, pointing out that Magic FM was her station of choice when she was in the car. MEGHAN'S FAVOURITE DRIVNIG STATION

Teased that Magic FM was a ‘grandma’ station, Meghan insisted that it was her favourite station to listen to while driving, and that now she’s back in America, she loves Mom jeans, which plays vintage soft rock. Pic: Getty Images
'ZEBRA' INSTEAD OF 'ZEEBRA'

Elsewhere in the series, Meghan spoke to Northern Irish-born chef Clare Smyth, who cooked at the Duke and Duchess’ wedding, about how her children have started to mix British and American pronunciations. She said: 'My kids, they'll say a little bit of both, but never cooking terms because I guess Papa's not cooking as much. They both say 'Zebra' though instead of 'Zeebra'.'Pic: Jake Rosenberg/Netflix
DUCHESS' SIGNATURE ROAST CHICKEN

In episode four of the show, the Duchess revealed her signature roast chicken recipe to chef Samin Nosrat, taking a moment to share the tale of how she prepared that exact dish for Harry on the evening that they got engaged. The 44-year-old said: ‘This is a by-heart recipe. It's a classic and it's nourishing, and I have done it so many times that now I can do it with my eyes closed.’ Pic: Netflix
WEEKLY FAMILY FAVOURITE

While a classic Sunday roast is a choice loved by millions across the UK, it is possible that the mum-of-two picked up the recipe during her time living away from the States, with Meghan admitting that she makes this dish at least once a week for her family. Pic: Netflix
WELCOMING BRITISH TRADITIONS

The series also sees Meghan welcome several other British traditions into her home, including enjoying a cup of tea, a hot beverage adored by Brits, and revealing a cookie mix for Scottish shortbread, as well as starting a duvet day tradition, where the family snuggles up and enjoys a leisurely morning with breakfast treats. MEGHAN AND HARRY'S 'DUVET DAY'

Meghan said of the ‘duvet day’ tradition: ‘In the UK, they call it a 'duvet day,' and I've always found that sweet. Our little family snuggled up for an easy family morning, followed by pancakes and bacon. The dream.’ Pic: Meghan / Instagram
CELEBRATING MOTHER'S DAY... UK STYLE

Meghan is also seen to be celebrating Mother’s Day according to the English calendar, with the Duchess sharing a sweet tribute acknowledging the annual holiday. Posting to Instagram, she shared shots of a lemon tart, insisting that in the UK, it’s a ‘family tradition’ to mark the day with the delicacy. Pic: Jake Rosenberg/Netflix
HINTING AT MISSING BRITAIN

Meghan has also hinted at missing parts of UK life on her social media platforms, with the Duchess sharing a montage of shots to her Instagram stories, paying homage to special moments they shared in Britain – suggesting that the UK may still hold a special place in her heart.
