There are plenty of reasons to get excited about the start of a new year, but for us, one of the best parts is the return of award season—and the many glamorous red carpets that come with it.
Traditionally, the Golden Globes is always one of the earliest ceremonies in the lineup, and “Hollywood’s Party of the Year,” as it’s called, always starts the season off right.
For the 83rd ceremony, Nikki Glaser is returning in her role as host for the second year in a row, and the event is being held within the Beverly Hilton hotel in Beverly Hills, California. As for those watching from home, the event will air on CBS and be simultaneously streamed on Paramount+ and YouTube TV.
This year, One Battle After Another stands as the most-nominated movie of the evening, with a total of nine nods, while The White Lotus is the most-nominated series, with six. Other projects that have a good chance of taking home a prize include Sentimental Value, Sinners, Adolescence, Severance, and more.
Of course, with so many major hits to recognize across both film and television, it is sure to be quite the star-studded night. The list of nominees includes a slew of A-listers like Amanda Seyfried, Emma Stone, Ayo Edebiri, Jennifer Lawrence, Jenna Ortega, Parker Posey, Miley Cyrus, and Cynthia Erivo. Not to mention, the two Lifetime Achievement Awards are being presented to none other than Sarah Jessica Parker and Helen Mirren. Thus, with so many fabulous celebrities set to attend, you can bet that it is going to be an unforgettable evening of fashion.
