The horological scene at this year’s Golden Globes well and truly ran the gamut, from chunky sports watches from heavy hitters like AP and Omega to dressier revivals from niche players like Glashütte Original. Also on hand? Numerous takes on JLC’s Reverso, a watch that was positively everywhere in 2025, and shows every indication of maintaining its ubiquity this year. More surprising, perhaps, was the number of neo-vintage Cartiers on the wrists of the brand’s ambassadors, as well as the occasional sighting of sportier deep cuts like the Porsche Design Chronograph 1. Less surprising was the appearance of Timothée Chalamet’s Urban Jurgensen, an ultra-rare new release that’s been on his arm as often as Kylie Jenner of late. Elsewhere, the usual awards show suspects made a strong showing with some rare gems from the vault, including a burgundy-dialed Vacheron Constantin and an iced-out Chopard Alpine Eagle.
Stellan Skarsgård’s Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra Shades Moonshine Gold
This handsome take on the Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra in Moonshine Gold with a green dial has Best Supporting Actor written all over it.

Sterling K. Brown’s Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar
Brown’s ensemble of a double-breasted tux jacket worn without a tie is a quintessential high-low move, much like this $125,000 steel AP.

Timothée Chalamet’s Urban Jürgensen UJ-2
Clinching the win for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy, Chalamet once again wore his trusty UJ-2, one of Urban Jürgensen’s debut models with a double-wheel natural escapement.

Chris Pine’s Cartier Tank Louis Cartier
Pine matched his classic (and decidedly un-freaky) black tux with an equally classic new Tank Louis Cartier with a golden sunray-effect dial and a matching yellow gold case.

Walton Goggins’ Cartier Tonneau
Walton Goggins left his Goggle Glasses at home, but nonetheless managed to maintain his accessory hot streak with a rare neo-vintage Tonneau from the early ‘90s.

John Krasinski’s Glashütte Original Vintage Sixties
When he’s not saving the world in a blacked-out Hamilton Khaki, Jack Ryan cleans up nice in this midcentury-inspired German-made dress watch.

Colman Domingo’s Omega Speedmaster 38MM

Paul Mescal’s Cartier Tortue

Mark Ronson’s Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Frosted Gold Selfwinding
It’s tough to argue with any Frosted Gold AP, but this 34mm version with a Crystal Sand finish looks particularly good on Ronson’s wrist.

Dwayne Johnson’s Chopard Alpine Eagle Frozen Summit
Fresh off his appearance wearing one of the choicest pieces in the IWC lineup, Johnson managed to best himself with this iced-out Alpine Eagle.

Jeremy Allen White’s Louis Vuitton Tambour
Louis Vuitton’s ascendent watch division made a fine showing on JAW’s wrist in the form of the two-tone steel and 18K rose gold Tambour, a collection revamped by the maison in 2023.

Wagner Moura’s Omega De Ville Trésor 40 mm
Brazilian actor Wagner Moura took home a statuette for Best Actor in a Drama Motion Picture while wearing this handsome Omega dress watch with a diamond-studded bezel.

Jake Lacy’s Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Duoface Small Seconds

Glen Powell’s Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M Moonshine Gold
Judging by this immaculate fit, the best thing to wear with a blue velvet dinner jacket might just be a solid-gold Omega.

Tramell Tillman’s Audemars Piguet Royal Oak “Jumbo” Extra-Thin Openworked
Tillman’s white gold version of the Royal Oak “Jumbo” Extra-Thin shines all the more brightly against his black-on-black tux.

Oscar Isaac’s Bulgari Octo Finissimo
Of all the incredible Octo Finissimo references, the sandblasted, 18K yellow gold automatic that Oscar Isaac paired with his tuxedo is among the dressiest—and the coolest.

Marlon Wayans’ Omega Speedmaster Canopus Gold
It may look like a steel Moonwatch, but Marlon Wayans’ sparkly Speedy is Canopus Gold—Omega’s special white gold formulation.

Jacob Elordi’s Cartier Tank Normale
Elordi’s Tank Normale ain’t exactly normal—with a skeletonized dial and a diamond-studded platinum case, it takes the WWI-era design to a whole new level of finesse.

Adam Brody’s Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Tribute Monoface Small Seconds
Brody rocked a precious-metal take on JLC’s famed reversible watch with aplomb, choosing a pink gold version with a silver dial.

2023 Novelties
Kumail Nanjiani’s Vacheron Constantin Overseas Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin
Extra style points to Nanjiani for pairing a burgundy velvet tux with a matching burgundy-dialed QP—that’s short for quantieme perpétuel, aka perpetual calendar—from the world’s oldest watchmaker.

Orlando Bloom’s Porsche Design Chronograph 1 - 1975 Limited Edition
Chronographs are a regular feature on the red carpet at the Golden Globes, but we’re pretty sure Bloom was the only guy wearing this Chronograph 1, a re-issue of Professor Ferdinand Alexander Porsche’s influential 1975 design.

Benny Blanco’s Jacob & Co.
Blanco rocked what looks like his wedding watch: A diamond-set piece from Jacob & Co. set on a thin white gold bracelet. Pop off, king.

Connor Storrie’s Tiffany & Co. Union Square
Not to be outshone, Storrie wore Tiffany & Co.’s Tank-like Union Square, an understated, automatic dress watch.

Leonardo DiCaprio’s Rolex Cosmograph Daytona “Le Mans”
It should come as no surprise that Leo—who recently became an official member of the Rolex fam—casually rocked the most desirable Rollie in the world, the white gold “Le Mans” Daytona that was discontinued after just a year in the Rolex catalog.

Hudson Williams’ Bulgari Serpenti
Williams’ heated rivalry with Connor Storie continued—albeit in horological fashion—when Williams wore a gold Bulgari Serpenti Tubogas with aplomb.

Nick Jonas’s Fossil Carraway
And the award for Most Affordable Watch on the Red Carpet goes to Nick Jonas and his Tank-like Carraway dress watch.

George Clooney’s Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M
One can always count on Omega stalwart (and longtime brand ambassador) Clooney to pick something unexpected—like this very aqua Aqua Terra—for the red carpet.

Dylan Efron’s TAG Heuer Carrera Astronomer 39mm
You may know Dylan Efron as Zac Efron’s brother and a regular on The Traitors, but thanks to his choice of one of the most unique moonphase watches on the market, you now know that he’s got great taste in timepieces, too.

Luke Grimes’ Blancpain Villeret Quantième Complet
There’s no arguing with a thin, solid-gold triple-calendar for any dressy occasion—especially one as elegant as Blancpain’s blue-dialed Villeret Quantième Complet.
