Love’s Travel Stop in Sheboygan sells $1M lottery winning ticket

SHEBOYGAN – A $1 million Wisconsin Lottery scratch ticket sold at Love’s Travel Stop in Sheboygan has produced the game’s first top-prize winner.

Lottery officials said Jermie Nelson bought a $1,000,000 Crossword ticket at the store at 6710 S. Business Drive and claimed the prize April 9 at the Wisconsin Lottery office in Madison.

The $50 ticket debuted Dec. 19, 2025, and includes crossword puzzles on both sides. The Lottery said there is still one $1 million top prize left in the game.

Since launch, players have also won prizes of $5,000, $10,000 and $50,000, according to the Wisconsin Lottery.

The Lottery said the $1 million winner is the largest ticket ever sold at that Love’s location. Under the state’s retailer incentive program, the store will receive a $20,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
