Sabrina Carpenter’s sheer yellow dress is covered in flowers

There is something about a sweet frilly yellow dress that just screams springtime, and last night, Sabrina Carpenter leaned all in. Embracing the season, she stepped out for the Dior Cruise 2027 show in a sheer number covered in blooming flowers.

Layered over a lace bralette and matching undies, the gown was designed from long sheer pleats, creating a high-neck, sleeveless silhouette. From the easy, breezy body of the dress, a drop-waist skirt flared down to the ankles in layers of tulle, each in a varying shade of yellow or white. Connecting the two were artisanal flower appliqués, adding a bit of playful intrigue to the romantic number.

Styled by Jared Ellner, Carpenter was the first person to be seen in the piece, which later walked the runway as part of the new resort collection.

In her hand, she carried a matching yellow Dior Cigale bag. The style was designed by Jonathan Anderson and drew from the lines of Christian Dior’s 1952 gown, bringing history into the house’s new era. All the bag’s color-ways featured a sweet bow detail, but here, the Man’s Best Friend star’s version was further adorned with a flower that looked like it had been plucked straight off her dress.

Carpenter pulled her hair back and secured the wavy half-up, half-down style with a white ribbon, adding an extra bit of feminine romance to the look. She kept her glam rosy with blushed cheeks.

For shoes, she slipped into open-toe bow heels, and for jewelry, she picked out little studs to match her signature “SC” rings.
