Sadie Sink is the dreamiest Juliet in this champagne Prada dress

Sadie Sink just brought a bit of high fashion to the streets of fair Verona. For the press night of her Romeo and Juliet stage production, the actor tapped none other than Prada—an appropriately Italian choice to channel the romantic, feminine sensibilities associated with the Shakespearean heroine.

The custom piece, a champagne silk gown with pleating that draped down to the floor, was designed with a curved neckline and an empire waist. Finished with delicate cap sleeves adorned with beaded embroidery, the number felt both vintage and contemporary, finding the space between traditional method dressing and Sink’s own style. Moreover, it offered a subtle callback to Claire Danes’s portrayal of Juliet, seen in Baz Luhrman’s 1996 adaptation.

Even at first glance, it’s difficult not to see the similarities between the ’90s white angel dress worn by Danes in the film and Sink’s recent look. But if that’s not enough proof, we’re here to remind you that Miuccia Prada actually collaborated with costume designer Kym Barrett on the on-screen wardrobe.

Styled by Molly Dickson, the Stranger Things star’s ensemble was finished with minimal Repossi rings and not much else, giving her signature red hair and feathery brows center-stage treatment. She finished off her glam with blushed cheeks and mauve-tinted lips.

Next to her, co-star Noah Jupe—a.k.a. Romeo—stayed true to the theme, wearing a sky-blue button-down shirt and gray sweater-vest from Prada’s little sister, Miu Miu. The stage performance marked both his and Sink’s West End debuts, and will run through June 20, 2026 at London’s Harold Pinter Theatre.
