Martha Stewart, 84, Rocks Skinny Leather Pants With a Polarizing Shoe Choice
The media mogul isn't afraid to take a fashion risk.

The Gist
- Martha Stewart stepped out in leather pants and clogs during a recent visit to New York City.
- The 84-year-old was in town for an appearance on the Today show.
- She paired the rather polarizing combo with a white button-up and an oversized tweed bomber jacket.
As leather pants continue to dominate fall mood boards, Martha Stewart is offering one more way to style the trend: with clogs. The famed cookbook author stepped out in the rather polarizing pants-shoes combination while out and about in New York City on Thursday, November 13.

Stewart's look consisted of the aforementioned slim leather pants, a classic white-button down, and an oversized tweed zip-up bomber jacket. As for her shoe of choice, the clogs were a brown suede slip-on pair with rubber roles and what looked like a tiny wedge heel.
Stewart's visit to the Big Apple was prompted by an invitation to grace the Today show with her presence. The mom-of-one sat down on the talk show to discuss how to prepare for Turkey Day and to share some of her best tips and tricks (among them: wrap your bird in parchment paper). In true diva fashion, Stewart wore a "Thanksgiving Queen" sash and supplied her hosts with a suite of festive drinks.

Aside from Stewart, plenty of other A-listers have already endorsed the leather pants trend this fall. Sirens star Julianne Moore, for example, was spotted wearing a wide-leg version of the style roughly two weeks ago while in Manhattan. And two weeks before that, Julia Fox took the trend in a more eccentric direction with a daring pair of red leather pants that were so low-rise they exposed her pink lace thong. Page Six obtained photos of the full look.
